    • Dont buy. Tool is not square and bushings are undersized.
While this press did get the job done on a 2006 Jeep Liberty, it was not without problems. The biggest problem is that when pressing the ball joint back in, the bushing is too small to allow clearance between the boot and the press, therefore ripping the boot as it gets pinched. It is difficult to keep this tool straight and the screw insert (that allows rotation) will bend making your life very difficult. I would not recommend this tool. ... show more

I was surprised how heavy duty this tool is. I’ve used it for ball joints and changed out a bunch of u joints with it, works great!!

Tool did the trick and made installation much easier. Make sure you lubricate the threads to minimize wear and tear. I purchased mine from Amazon Warehouse Deals and got it at a great price. Figured it was worth the gamble, and I have zero complaints. I have no idea how many uses it will last, but on the job I used it for, it performed flawlessly and didn't seem to be worn at all after. ... show more

The hard case was busted upon arrival which means if I pick it up by the carrying handle it all spills out. And that is exactly what happened when I pulled it out of the shipping box for the first time. The shipping container looks good which leads me to believe the case was broken prior to packaging.
