This fan is great for installation ease and appearance but the DC motor does not have the power of a traditional AC motor to spin the blades at a constant speed when there is some outside air movement coming through the room. If it is in an enclosed area that is not too big it would probably be fine. But an outside area with no walls it does not move enough air. ... show more

This thing moves the air unlike my older small fan I mistakenly installed whooops...anywho the but is ...dang the light is super bright wished it had a dimmer but I really don't use it that much so no deal breaker.

We installed this fan on our covered patio to help combat the hot Florida summers and this fan delivers. Fairly easy to install, but I have installed 20+ ceiling fans in my day, so I’ve never really installed one that didn’t involve a little profanity😂 This fan is huge and circulates a large amount of air. The remote is great with large and easy to understand buttons which may sound weird, but I’ve experienced some bizarre remote things thru the years. The only thing I didn't like was the shiny finish on the light cover which is probably just personal preference. Something with a matte finish would have made it perfect for me. All in all for the price, I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. Highly recommended. ... show more
