The only downside is that there were no directions in the package so I have no idea what the "extra?" hooks were for. Very colorful. The two nets are EXTREMELY durable - love that!! And these nets are just perfect for keeping a cucumber or corn cob off the ground. Judging from the feel of these nets I am quite sure they would be washable, too. These chickens are huge so I am wondering how long the thin chain holding the swings will last. No worries though if you have normal sized chickens, plus you can always replace the chains at the hardware store for cheap (pun intended). So far they have ignored the xlophone completely, but it is all so hilarious just the same. Overall, this is a really good price for what you get! ... show more

Cute idea but not practical for real hens. They are not able to balance on the "swings" without falling off . The round wood is too small and is varnished and slippery. The "walking bridge is hard to get in a position where they can use it again the wood is too small and the gaps are too wide for them. They pecked at the zylophone a few times but it doesn't make any noise .if they peck hard enough it sounds like a wooden peg hitting a metal chair. The fruit hanger is really the only thing out of this bundle that our chickens were able to enjoy however we had to take it away they were starting to pick it apart and getting pieces of the nylon netting caught in their nostrils on their beaks. Overall a cute idea but detentions and size of product make this impractical for hens. Our were between 4 and 18 weeks when we had it in their run. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The hens and pullets took turns inspecting each item as I hung them. The xylophone was their favorite. I think they're more for my hopes of them playing, but so far it's keeping them busy pecking at things and looking interested. Not a single good thing to say on this repurposed parakeet cage toys. The chickens jumped ont he perch one or two times and the coating came off, but the dowl used for it is very thin and coating is not durable. The ladder pulled apart and chain and clasps broke, as well as the paint faded within days. The xylophone doesn't make any noise when pecked. All in all, complete waste of money if you are buying them for anything other than baby chickens. ... show more
