I bought these for my teenager's room. We lined the top corner of the walls and made it all the way around the room with lights to spare. Power consumption is on par with a typical light bulb (37W) so don't worry too much about how long they're on, Dad. Colors are bright and vivid but the "white" setting looks a bit too bluish to me. Great addition to my teenage daughter room. Got this for her as a Christmas gift and I am very pleased. I didn’t think adding LED lights to the room will make the bedroom so vivid. I got 50ft and It covered most of the room, only a lil bit of the room was without light as shown in the picture but is towards the door so you can even notice since the rest of the room is light up. If you have a big room 50ft may not be enough. The lights were super easy to install, they just get taped into the wall nicely.
