For under 50 bucks, you get a great ceiling fan that really moves the air and provides variations of light. I needed something light weight as I don't have a ceiling fan box braced inside the ceiling and was replacing an existing ceiling light. Yes, the fan is all plastic but this also makes it under 6lbs = Perfect for my needs. Also the height of the fan from ceiling to light is 9.5" for those with only 8' ceilings the "hang down" shouldn't interfere. Installation took less than 30mins, very easy. Fan is also extremely quiet, no metallic noise or wobble or anything. Lastly, no the bulb in the lamp is not replaceable, but this is LED and should last many years. Highly recommend if you need a lightweight fan that looks sorta modern and won't cost you hundreds like at the big box stores. ... show more

This ceiling fan was easy to install and mount to the ceiling. I'm 61 years old, putting it together and installing was easy and fun. These small ceiling fans are the cutest things and they blow a ton of air. The blade direction will reverse and there is a remote. They have built in lights too! The indoor/outdoor/wet location rating system is super confusing, especially because the title of the item and description sometimes do not match. I believe our electrician said these were okay for this protected outdoor porch area but he wouldn't use them where rain would go directly on them. This is something to consider seriously because the information in the instructions, on the box, in the description, and title all conflict with each other. So we just asked the guy who came to install. It hasn't been warm enough to use them for more than just a test, but these outdoor ceiling fans with lights are fabulous LOOKING and have great air power. That I like. The remote stinks and is impossible to figure out. The instructions are barely there, if at all, need a translator to repair the wording, and are just generally useless. If all the workings of the remote are important to you, don't buy these. These are surprisingly small, much smaller than the norm. The compact size is just what we needed in this little porch. I have installed more six ceiling fans of different brands. This one was by far the easiest. The instructions are not great but the installation is intuitive. The fan is super light and the final step of attaching the fan to the bracket requires only one screw. The light and fan have multiple settings and the remote control is adequate. I would have given this fan five stars. However, for the first few nights, I left the fan running at the lowest speed with the light off. In the middle of the night, the fan would stop and the light would turn on. I re-paired the remote control with the fan but the problem persisted. After less than two weeks, the fan/light completely stopped working, big disappointment. Update: After this fan stopped working, I was looking for a better fan and to my surprise, the seller sent me a message stating that customer satisfaction was important to them and they wanted to address the issue. They said the problem was the remote control and asked for my address to send me another one. I provided them with my address on September 5. On September 9 they sent a message saying that they would immediately arrange for express delivery of the remote control. Two weeks later, I still had not received the remote control. On September 24 I sent them a message inquiring if they had shipped the remote and if so, to provide me with tracking number. I also asked them to please let me know if for any reason they had changed their mind about sending this. As of this writing on October 4, they still have not responded. I am not sure what to make of this. If customer satisfaction is important, then why ghost me after multiple messages and promises? ... show more

This thing really works and has a lot of cool settings to change the light ambience in the room and different fan speeds. A timer as well and remote control that my husband has put in the case that comes with it on the wall. This is in a bedroom and the perfect size for a bedroom, guest room , kids room.
