This is a great set if you are looking to cover up AC lines if unit is on the first floor. Although 9.5 feet may seem enough, one quickly realizes that turns and weird angles take up length. Good thing for me, this was just enough to get all the lines covered and protected. The material is good and strong. Easy to work with. Flexibility is nice.     • versatile cover for A/C line set

I have an older whole house A/C that has always had the outside house tubing covered with kind of a steel gutter material, but the guy who installed it couldn't make it plumb because an electrical box was in the straight vertical path, so he put the cover at an angle. My OCD has flared every time I walked past that line set for the last 25 years. Finally I ripped it the old cover and used this 13.5' x 4" set to recover the two tubes and power cable and make it actually vertical Because this set uses multiple 16" segments (which can actually be cut to even shorter dimensions if needed) it was easy to jog around the electrical box leaving the overall effect as plumb. Cured. The 4" width made it ideal even for the large pipes the whole-house A/C uses. One note- it includes a short 2' section of flex duct if you need that .. but there's no way to use that on an existing installation since the tubes have to be threaded through it .. they say just cut a slit down the back to open it up to cover already installed lines, but that produces a less than desirable result especially since the piece is specifically designed to be used on a curvilinear section. The split in the back tends to gap out when you try to go around a curve and you have to try to keep it together with zip ties or something. I recommend the whole kit, but you should avoid trying to use the flex duct except in a new installation. ... show more

After an installation of a mini split, you want to finish the job off right. Get this line set cover to make the job look like a professional did it. Flexible enough to work with, but rigid enough to stay where it needs to while you screw it up, makes this a perfect kit for your job.
