It was very easy to put together. I’m a 71 disabled great grandmother and I installed the gate all by myself in less than 30 minutes. It’s very easy to put together and the handle for opening and closing is much easier on my hand than what we had been using. I really like the fact that it stands by itself in that no walls are damaged. It is a pressure gate and that is what holds it to the wall. I intend on buying the little plastic or rubber protection circles to use behind the pressure points just for peace of mind that they may give it additional strength. I tightened the supports last evening (two days up), and will do so every so often to make sure my little loving terror (dog), won’t be able to knock it loose. It is tall! Just what I needed as he was jumping what I had been using. He has separation anxiety and I needed something to keep him in his area when we were gone. He can’t jump this one. It looks great works very good and the opening is now a breeze. I expect as time goes by it will all be easier. It has been a great help so far. It’s very sturdy. The included extensions were helpful. It comes with support pieces that also gives added protection. I highly recommend. ... show more

Nice looking and super easy to install. This gate is used on our little front patio so that our pups can look out on the neighborhood. it serves that purpose well. The only issue I have is with the open and close mechanism. It is plastic and does not seem very sturdy. Additionally, it does not always lock by itself. The door opening is smallish and larger people have to slide through sideways. For us though it is working well and my three pups are very happy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This gate was a bit more $$ than I wanted to spend but it’s totally worth it! I have a large breed 1 year old (Cane Corso) and she loves being all in the mix- especially when I don’t want her to be…lol the video attached to this product shows how to put the gate together (I recommend watching the video and NOT following the provided instructions- they will make your head spin!!) it took be about 15 minutes to unbox and put together. The only trouble (and not really but it was a little challenging) was the fastening to the wall. I have molding on the bottom of my walls so the fastening wasn’t going to be even on the same side (top and bottom) so I had to make little adjustments along the way. Also, if the top fasteners are too “tight” it makes the gate stay locked and it’s really hard to open- again, just have to make little adjustments until you get it right for your space. ***also, if my dog wanted to knock this down she can. Again, she is a 1 year old puppy who weighs about 60-70 pounds at the moment- she is super strong anyway but the gate seems to have deterred her from even trying. I do keep it open most of the day so she can go in and out. I close it when I am putting away groceries or cooking. ... show more

This gate is not as sturdy as other brands I have tried. I used all the enclosed features to make it more sturdy but it is just not the quality that it should be to prevent children and pets to move it. I just used the pressure mount feature.

This gate worked perfectly for my 60 inch entryway. Didn’t need to use the extenders. Seems pretty sturdy. I purchased wall Nannie’s to give it an even more secure fit.
