    • Paperfeel is Better than Paperlike - by far

I bought both Zoegaa Paperfeel and Paperlike screen protectors for my 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I don’t care about the cost. Whether it’s $10 or $40, it’s the quality and features of the product that matter. Zoegaa Paperfeel is by far the better choice and here’s why: Paperfeel goes on very easy with a much greater ability to achieve an air bubble free application - it’s a little thicker and sturdier and just lays down flat very easily. Paperlike is thinner and I found it completely impossible to not wind up with dozens of air bubbles, no matter how careful I was. For this reason alone, I would not buy the Paperlike. Paperfeel is more matte than Paperlike - which I like. Both still have some shine and both diffuse reflection, but Paperfeel has just the right amount of diffusion, soft and natural and cuts down on the eye strain from glare and highly reflective glass. Paperfeel has just the right texture. It creates the feeling of moving a pencil across sketching paper. It is a very satisfying sensation and changes the whole experience of digital illustration on the iPad. Paperlike on the other hand, has no texture. It has a more rubbery, plastic sensation, like you are dragging a ball point pen across a sticky surface. Your Apple Pencil will flow smoothly, but there is too much drag, slowing down your strokes to the point where it feels unnatural and frustrating. Both do not at all hinder the ability of the Apple Pencil to interact with the touch screen for even the most intricate art, but overall, and by far, Zoegaa Paperfeel is the better product. ... show more

I was a little skeptical of this screen protector because it was way cheaper than some other brands, but the reviews seem great, so I decided to try it. I am really impressed with the way it feels when I draw with the Apple pencil. It’s got a little more “bite” than the other brand, which I like, and at the fraction of the price, and it has two screen protectors in the box. There’s a slight “stick” at the end of a stroke if you put enough pressure on the pencil, sort of like how an eraser would feel on paper, but I dig that, too! The whole reason people get these “paper feeling” screens is because the pencil slips on the naked iPad screen, making it difficult to have full control of the pencil tip. This screen gives me full control of my strokes. No finger smudges, less glare, the screen feels great to the touch. If you got the iPad for taking notes and/or drawing, this is an amazing product that is (finally) asking for a fair price! No need to pay more. Update after 1 week use After drawing on it for a while, I realize it feels like I’m drawing with crayons on paper, rather than pencil on paper. I guess that’s a preference thing, but I do miss the crisp feeling of the other brand. I hope that helps! ... show more

These absolutely suck to have to put on, but I think that is user error and not due to the actual protector. I always have bubbles under it, but I figure that my screen is protected so it’s an even trade. They’re not bad otherwise and do feel like paper.

Purchased this screen protector two years ago. I must have misplaced the second one (which is almost not needed because of that reason). It has worn well except first application was set a little too close to edge of iPad and formed a crease. Using a drawing app, this screen protector has been "scribbled on" a lot over the last two years. Those scribbles/lines can be seen at a angle, but they do are not scratches in the material nor do they interrupt the quality of drawing on it. A simple wipe with a soft cleaning cloth removes the lines. My second application was easy with no bubbles. I love the texture that gives the feel of drawing on paper with pencil. ... show more
