I’ve been using the bubblegum pink color for a few months now, and I’m very happy with the experience. It tends to fade to a more peachy color in my hair around 2-4 washes, but the initial color is a very pretty pastel pink. I’ve had no issues with staining, and application is very easy.

I used the pink and I have to say I color my hair frequently I do different colors different vivids different tones and I have for the past 20 years. This color is by far one of the best that I have ever used. It doesn't damage my hair, the color lasts as you can see in the picture I colored it the last time two weeks ago and I wash it every 2 to 3 days. If you're looking to try something that's going to be a little more gentle on your hair but still give you a gorgeous color this is absolutely the one to try. A word of warning though Wear gloves absolutely wear gloves otherwise you're going to be walking around with bright pink hands for 3 or 4 days. First pic is after 2 weeks the second is after a little over 6 weeks. Still great color, but there are a few spots where it's faded to a pale pink. ... show more

Do you like fantasy colors? Are you a greaseball who absolutely must wash their hair every other day so you don’t look like you haven’t touched a shampoo bottle since 1992 because the amount of dry shampoo required to be presentable gives you the worst most scaliest dandruff in theeeee entire world? Then this is the dye for you! It has been over a month since I dyed my hair, and it’s still going strong! Obviously a little faded, but not nearly as bad as Arctic Fox. My hair is genetically greasy—which is different from “it gets greasy” like most people—to the point where I can’t even use conditioner on the ends of my hair. Even when preventatively using dry shampoo my hair is greasy the next day. Yes, I tried to train it, for well over a year. You cannot “train” genetically greasy hair. Anyway, I was re-dyeing my hair every 2-3 weeks when I was using Arctic Fox, even though I washed my hair in cold water with sulfate-free color safe shampoo…even when I was washing every 5 days. (Oh, the dandruff.) I’m only now, 5 weeks after the initial dye job, planning to freshen my color up. So if your scalp produces enough oil you could single-handedly support domestic oil drilling, Iro Iro is IT for you. ... show more

One of the first things I noticed when using this hair dye is the consistency, it's thick and almost creamy, it's absolutely perfect for dyeing hair. No runniness, but also not dry enough to cause product waste. I joked with my friends that it looked like pink frosting. It goes on well, stays in the hair without running, and coats the hair evenly if you do it right. I have an over grown pixie, with fine hair, and there was JUST enough to cover my whole head. If you have shoulder length hair, I'd recommend buying two, if it's longer, good luck. Once on, the product slowly gets a little darker as it processes, I thought this was strange for a direct dye. When it's time to rinse, it comes out easy enough. I typically spend anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes trying to get dye out of my hair and the water to run clear (prevents pillow and clothes staining after) but this only took about 10 minutes. Once you're done rinsing it, the color looks about like a pink highlighter. This REALLY was not the color I was going for, I wanted a true pastel bubblegum pink. I had bleached my hair to a 9 in the length and nearly a 10 at the roots. My roots turned out true highlighter pink, but the length looks orange. Because of this, it almost looks like I dyed my hair in broken highlighters instead of hair dye. If you're able to reach nearly white blonde on your full head, you should be able to get an even color. I haven't washed my hair a second time yet, since I dyed it, however I believe it'll wash out somewhat quickly due to it being a pastel dye. If you want a dye to last a LONG time, this is it. I have been dying with Iorio Pink for almost a year and a half. I’ve dyed it three times during that entire time. (My picture shows a fresh dye in August, and what it faded to by December. I wash my hair almost daily) The vibrancy packs a punch, it smells great, makes my hair FEEL great and when it fades it fades gently and gradually so it never looks lame. I usually let it sit in my hair between 3-5 hrs before washing it out and I make sure each strand is saturated. WEAR GLOVES. It stains like crazy… everything it touches. Be patient and wear your gloves 👍🏼 If you’re the type to switch colors frequently. Then this probably isn’t for you. It is VERY difficult to bleach out. ... show more
