I've really liked the safe has 2 entries. If you forget your pin number. It comes with 2 sets of keys, different sizes. So you can open the safe using both keys. At the same time, nice, sturdy and strong. What I don't like about it is. When you open up the door the inside little door part where you put little personal stuff in is plastic. I was searching for a decent sized safe that was also affordable and I got lucky on the first buy! This safe has two lock features, a digital code lock and a double key lock for when the battery runs out. I love that it’s fire proof and has a light inside when you open it. There’s also a mini safe inside the safe with another 3 digit code which is nice for smaller important items that you wanna keep safe. Update, cheap pos. Key broke off in safe First the safe anchors are for crap. I lost two sets of anchors through the wall. They have no threads. They have no threads on the inside for the screws to grip to when screwed into anchors. The anchors themselves are cheap and no threads like anchors found at home improvement stores. They will fall through to the other side of the drywall because they have no flat face to prevent them from moving forward. They suck. Home improvement stores do not have anchors of these size. The safe shelf is cheap. It’s metal but thin. I doubt the safe is fireproof. The safe anchors through the back of the safe rather than the floor of the safe. It’s alright for documents. You get what you pay for. Would not buy another one. The cupboard lock box is thin cheap metal and plastic. If anyone has had a true gun safe this is subpar. It’s a good beginner safe. Can’t anchor so anyone can walk away with a fifty lb safe. ... show more

First of all it's made from thin sheet metal. I don't think it's all that fire resistant,or drill resistant. The top inside lock box is plastic very cheaply made. Other than that we'll you get what you pay for easy to use and change codes. I had no problems drilling holes in the bottom to bolt to the floor. It will work for now. Overall worth the money. Lock mechanism was a bit sticky until the door was opened for the first time. Programming instructions were obviously written by the Chinese not fluent in english but programming was relatively straightforward, though I have yet to program the clock. The is not a bank vault. A grinder with a cutting wheel would make very short work of getting into this thing. However as a lock box I love it . Bolted to a wall inside my closet this is a perfect safe to keep valuables out of sight and safely locked away from kids and the ex wife. It’s a simple metal box with a secure locking system. I would say there is no real protection for the safe contents from fire without added measures. I may buy another one smaller than 3 cuft for my daughter. ... show more

This safe is beautiful, i love. The hiding spot at the bottom. I didn't set this safe up for 6 months and started to get concerned about returning it if it was not sufficient. The safe appears to be very high quality and everything I anticipated for the price. It’s got a sleek design, both interior and exterior. I appreciate that it has both a keypad option and a key option but unfortunately I am struggling to get the keypad option to work. I was able to program both the individual and administrative passwords, and when I enter the password, I do get the open signal on the display and hear the beeps as the instructions suggest I should. However, I am unable to turn the knob if I don’t also have the keys in. Update: received a replacement safe and it has the same problem. Serial # is only 8 digits higher than my original so it may be a bad batch. Customer service is a sketch email address at best. I did attempt to reach them that way but never heard anything back. I was looking for a larger safe than I currently have to fit important papers in it and THIS IS THE ONE!! The shelf is removable which is a plus so I can fit larger items inside. This safe is the perfect size for hiding it in the house in unexpected places. One way of opening the safe is using the 2 different keys that fit in 2 different key holes. There is a passcode that can be used while using one of the keys. This safe is not very heavy so it can be moved easily. It also has a separate upper compartment inside to store smaller objects.
