Most of these are much more finely cut than I am used to. I typically prefer fatwood to be portioned into pieces with a bit more girth. That said, I reckon a 10lb box of fatwood is ten pounds of fatwood regardless of whether the pieces are cut to one’s preference or not.

Such a great Firestarter for backpacking. nice small box with small box length sticks that light immediately upon holding a flame to it. I've noticed no smell while holding a piece or the whole box. Box is sturdy I've packed it up in my pack over 20 times now and it still looks new and uncrushed.
