  • Absolute blast with young child
Style: T90 VS Leopard II
Bought for my 5 year old son and I to battle with. Easy for him to maneuver and drive. He legitimately beats me, no cheating, so I know it's easy for a kid. Good quality, looks good. Tracks have trouble in thick grass, but on pavement or gravel it works great. Smoke effect blows his mind and looks awesome. Great option for a kid to intro into RC tanks. ... show more

  • Great for parties
Style: T90 VS Leopard II
This is the review of remote control tank with the ability to score and simulate fights. The detail is expected for its price point. The paint is pretty detailed into its strong plastic. Has the option to place a toy soldier on top holding an automatic gun. It has a rubber crawler belt but can drive through different terrains. Turret can spin left and right to point to the right direction. Driving it is a bit of a learning moment as this is the first time I use where the left control lever moves the left wheels forward and backwards and same with the right controls. This gives it better control and can spin faster by reversing both directions. It has 3 types of weapons and it even simulates the recoil everytime the main turret is used. It has sensors on top to receive damage and lives are indicated in the lights in the rear. It makes this an enjoyable game even for adults. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Very cool
Style: T90 VS Leopard II
This is a set of two tanks that essentially allow two people to play laser tag with the tanks. I don’t know exactly how far the range is but it’s at least 6-8 ft, which is plenty on these 1/24 scale models. They are easy enough for my four year old son to learn how to use (though he does pick up the tank and turn it towards mine instead of rotating the turret) and a lot of fun. The tanks simulate recoil and taking fire, allow the sound to be turned on or off, and use an ultrasonic humidifier to simulate smoke coming from the tail. It can be as simple as point and shoot or as complex as hiding behind obstacles for sneak attacks and running. Though four is a bit young, I imagine these would be fun for kids anywhere from six or seven up through teenager. I’m an adult and I had fun playing with him. I imagine the fun will increase as he ages and learns to control the tank more easily. Honestly the value is excellent as well, getting a full functioning game with two Rc tanks for under $80. I wouldn’t be shocked to see this set sell for over $120 for the pair, or make you buy two tanks for over $50 a piece. This would make an excellent birthday present. I wish I had toys like this growing up. Def recommend with five stars. I love that they provide a function for the sound to be turned off, as that would have been a major downside for me. It’s great to se that they’re really thinking about what customers want out of their products. ... show more

  • fun for the office, but can get loud
Style: T90 VS Leopard II
I work with a bunch of other computer programmers and took these up to my office last week. Everyone wanted a turn with them and they were definitely a hit. I wish there was a volume control on them though as the sound is kind of loud, but if you turn it off, it's just not the same for tank battles. These are my 2nd set of tanks from Supdex. I have 2 of the larger 1/18 size tanks as well. Those are definitely more detailed and featured, but they shoot actual projectiles. When I brought those up to the office, I spent a lot of time chasing down the little pellets. These IR tanks are much better for office battles. No pellets to chase and they automatically keep track of the hits. It's a lot of fun when you're down to 1 hit left, your turret no longer turns and you're really just trying to out run the other tank. Good coworker bonding time! ... show more
