I just received the shoes, they look awesome, I was definitely not exited with the other designs that look like a street shoe for an 80 yr old, these look cool and feel great. I’ve only used them once, a two hour ride and immediately felt the difference. They stick to the pedals really well, they are rigid at the sole and you can feel the power on the pedals much better. The closed ankle cuff worried me that it would sofocante my feet but that was not the case, when the summer arrives I would be able to tell better. As others say they run a little small, it’s a snug fit so I went up half a size and they fit perfect. I bought these for the mid-style they are. They are a bit narrow but stretched. I wore them for about 12 hours prior to biking in them. My first ride was a combo of riding and walking uphill. These shoes were comfortable, and stable, and felt just fine while hiking uphill. They were grippy to my pedals as I went downhill. Glad I bought these! ... show more

I don’t ordinarily write a review so soon after my purchase but in this case it’s warranted. The shoe is narrow. My advice is to buy a couple pair. I usually wear a 9.5 US so I bought one pair of 9.5’s and one at size 10. Sure enough the 9.5’s were too small (think narrow) but the 10’s fit perfectly. Also, the shoes will stretch a bit after wearing so take that into consideration. But it is a good shoe and I think it will last at least six months to a year which is about as long as these synthetic shoes can be expected to hold up well. My son wears these and loves them. He says they’re one of the most comfortable shoes he’s owned. I bought this pair for his dad, unfortunately they sent the wrong size so I had to return them. I’ll reorder but it seems they’re limited in sizes and colors now.

I bought these 1/2 big and they fit great. This shoe is solidly built and made for mountain bike applications but since they tossed on the famous stealth rubber, they are great for water sports too.

Good quality shoe but had to return. Size 9-1/2 was too narrow around the base of pinky toe and size 10 felt like a good width but was too long. Otherwise I would have kept them because they felt like a great quality shoe with better looks than most MTB shoes. My feet are a bit on the wider side than normal but not insanely wide. I guess these shoes are for people with narrow to normal width feet. I liked the sticky soles and protection around the toe box. They were not hard to put on despite having an opening that looks smaller with the neoprene sleeve. I’ve had high tops with that neoprene sleeve that were really hard to get on, but these mid-height ones didn’t have that problem. ... show more

I have owned several pairs of the old Adidas Cross Trail’s quich are no longer made and the soles on these only seemed to last about 1 1/2 seasons. I purchased this shoe originally in a 9.5 and it fit great but after a few rides I noticed that my foot had a lot of movement side to side as well as front to back. I have a wide foot so based on the reviews they run narrow. I returned the 9.5 to REI. Bought the 9 but did notice that they were snug so after a few rides fit like the 9.5 out of the box.
