The keypad lights up so no problem getting in at night time. I see other reviews saying it drains batteries very quickly but I've had no issue with that. I bought a pack of rechargeable 2400 MAH AA batteries and they have barely drained at all. I did have an issue with the keypad functioning at first but customer service reached out to me and quickly resolved it. And unlike every other seller I've dealt with on Amazon, they didn't ask me to change my review. But I did because this product/company far exceeded my expectations. The media could not be loaded. I've installed 3 electric locks now. My advice, don't buy the expensive ones. I fought for 3 hours with 1 that was $75 on sale! The 2 that I have now were $35ish. This one took maybe 10 minutes to install, program and test. I'm talking done, code and fingerprint input...works like a dream. Also fabulous customer service. They emailed me before the lock got to me saying if I needed anything they'd help me. The other company, when I reached out said they had no idea what I'd purchased and gave me a list of information they'd need before they could help. Love this lock, sleek, easy to install, great customer service!!!! ... show more

We bought 2 of these locks for our airbnb. We installed them, and tested them out before our next set of guests came. After about 3 days of going in and out, it said the battery was low. We thought it was just malfunctioning. Needless to say it wasn't. We bought new batteries right before our guest came in. On her 2nd day here the batteries went dead, and she could not enter the airbnb. She luckily was not to upset, but I was extremely embarrassed! This should not of happened. Off to shopping for another lock. Update: Amazon refunded my money the very next day! Great customer service! I was so pleased with there customer service, that I purchased another lock. It's a different lock, with same purpose. Thank you Amazon for being right on top of things! ... show more

    • Can’t disable auto lock

Easy to install. Nice looking on the door. However, we are in and out of the house at least 60 times a day. For this reason the auto lock needs to be disabled. Following instructions over and over. It’s a no go. Looked through amazon questions and the code given here is different than instructions. Tried that and still a no go. So, it’s useless to us. Can’t recommend. UPDATE: I received an email from the seller offering a full refund. I will not take this although it is very appreciated. My husband tried again to disable the auto lock. We searched on YouTube and found a video. Following that it still didn’t work. But we continued trying and hitting a sequence of numbers we were able to finally disable the auto lock. I can’t tell you how we did it. My complaint is, the instructions didn’t work for us. I will update to three stars leaving two off for the frustration. The seller is good! Thank you for the offer of a refund. Since the lock is now working, I cannot take a refund. ... show more
