The grass is soft enough to sit on, the mat is thick with a rubber backing. We used a regular hairbrush to fluff it, that worked best after trying other brushes and a broom. It looks nice, were very happy with this purchase:)

It was very easy to trim to fit my space, very soft, mine was rolled for delivery and laid flat nicely. Not sure about the durability as I just got it, nor cleanability. Well see.

FPuts off way too much debris... black particles from the base, sheds grass blades like crazy. Curls up and won't stay flat even after a week+ of having weight holding the edges down. Disappointed with the quality. It does look and feel pretty authentic.
