I’ve been using this litter for over a year now. It’s fantastic especially if you have an automated box, but it’s great even in a normal box. First of all, the thing I think should convince literally anyone and everyone to buy it- it doesn’t track. Your cats may kick some out of the box or get a few pieces here and there but I never find this litter more than a few feet from the box. It has NO dust, NO tiny particles. It takes SECONDS to sweep it up and doesn’t leave any sandy or dusty residue on the floor. I am still finding clay litter in cracks and crevices A YEAR AFTER I STOPPED USING IT, but I NEVER find any residue or pieces of this litter. If tracking is your problem, this is the litter for you. Otherwise: The smell is minimal- none, really, even when it’s dirty. It may get stinky a LITTLE bit faster than normal litter but if you’re being responsible and scooping regularly this is completely not an issue. It clumps BEAUTIFULLY and prevents urine or feces from being spread around your box or your cats’ paws. This is particularly nice in automatic boxes like the little robot or other boxes (iykyk). 10/10, really suggest switching to this. Except for right after my cats use the cat box, there is no smell from this litter - ever. It's very low tracking and easy to clean up. It is basically dust free. There is usually a small amount of broken down litter at the bottom of the box when I clean it...I'd say 1-2 Tbs, but it is virtually dust free. The small bits aren't light enough to really in air. It's a bit pricier than my second favorite (World's Best Cat Litter), so I'm gonna try alternating between them. There are a couple of things I don't love (but even despite these, it still outperforms everything else I've tried). The clumping is so good that it uses a lot of the litter up in each clump. This does mean you have to refill quite a bit more than with other litters I've used...with the added cost, this does run on the expensive side. The second thing is my cats tend to pee in the same spot, so if I don't clean it daily, the clumps become mushy and stick to the sides of the litter pan. It's not a big deal, and preventable if I stay on top of the cleaning, but it's so easy to forget to clean it because of the no smell! :) Overall, highly recommend. ... show more

Great tofu mix litter, has a good charcoal/clean scent to it. Tracking - Doesn’t track as much because of the large grains, but the tiny balls do tend to track more. Easy to pick up and throw back in litter box. Odor control - pretty good if box is cleaned daily. There is a faint ammonia smell in my litter genie but that’s only because I empty it once a week. Clumping - it clumps urine well but because there is clay in this litter, it does have a sticky wet clay texture to it. Downside is that it could fall into small pieces versus 100% tofu would be one solid clump. 100% Tofu solidifies much faster, this takes longer due to the clay so there is a small chance cat can track it if they step in their pee clump. Dust - I don’t notice dust on my cats fur and they do not smell like litter anymore! No dusty paw prints. However, after a week or two I do notice a layer of dust on top of my surfaces. The dust in litter box is very very low. Overall - it’s a great litter but I wish it clumped more solid / instant dry clumps. I hope they come out with 100% tofu instead of mixed tofu because I don’t like the clay! ... show more

Don't flush this stuff! Idc if it says it's flushable, I wouldn't trust it. I have a litter genie. That being said, this is the best tofu litter i've tried. Clumps great, is a bit smaller in size than other brands so it's easier to scoop and my cats like it better to step on and dig in. I can't say much about masking the smell, my cats eat a raw diet so their waste doesn't typically smell too bad either way. But WAY less tracking than clay litter! Also doesn't smell sickeningly sweet like other brands "unscented" litter does. Never going back to clay again! ... show more

I was excited to try this litter with my PetKit Puramax. I thought that it would be the best litter to use since it’s the one they recommended. Let me tell you. It’s not. The concept is cool. It does keep the odor at bay. But the one thing I don’t like. And can’t overlook is the fact that it clumps and sticks to the bottom of the bowl. It never hardens and falls off when the drum rotates. It just sticks to the bottom and remains wet. I have to go in and use some type of stick to remove the glob from the bottom so it can get clean. The longer the glob stays there. The more litter gets stuck to causing it to grow. To me this makes a self cleaning litter box pretty pointless. I bought this automatic litter box because I wanted my cats to have clean litter every time they use the bathroom. I have one cat that’s very picky. If the litter box is dirty she refuses to use it. She then goes on to pee on my other stuff. Blankets on my bed are her favorite to pee on when the box is dirty. Hence why this issue is a dealbreaker for me. I will not be buying this litter again. This litter has helped with the tracking so there is less mess outside the box. It does a decent job clumping the urine. My cats are older and no longer cover their feces so try to clean out their boxes every day. But the odor! Ugh! It's not cat odor, it's the smell of litter itself! Yuck! It's so pungent. It almost makes me want to vomit as I'm cleaning out the box. I'm surprised more people don't mention this as an issue. ... show more
