Description

The NOCO BG31 is a Group 24-31 (adjustable with included battery divider) battery box for automotive, marine, RV, deep-cycle, and lithium-ion batteries, including cars, boats, campers, travel trailers, pontoon batteries, and more. This battery box features an all-new rugged and snap-lock design making it more durable and easier to install than ever before. Its simplified mounting allows for installation without a battery strap using pre-drilled internal pilot holes or a battery strap mount for more demanding applications. It safely protects batteries from unwanted battery movement, accidental shorting of battery terminals, collects battery acid, and allows adequate ventilation. And it meets with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Code of Federal Regulations 183.420 and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) E-10.7 specifications. It includes the BG31 Group 24-31 Battery Box, 48-Inch Battery Hold-Down Strap, Battery Mounting Tray, and Four (4) 8x1-Inch Self-Tapping Screws.

I've found it also fits an H8/Group 49 battery size, just barely. I wired everything up in the lid and it works well. For the money I'm happy.

I upgraded my battery from a 24 to 31. I need a new box hopefully something more sturdier than the dealer provided box. This item is built really well and fits the tracks of my RV. The box has three securing points. One securing points is the ability to screw the box into the RV tracks. The second point is that this box snaps shut on the sides. Finally, the manufacturer provides a sturdy strap to surround the box. This box in comparison to my current Camco box is thicker but about the same weight. The manufacturer provides a divider to allow you the opportunity to use a Class 24 or 31 battery. For the cost of this box you cannot go wrong. You will get the value out of this item. Only con of this product is Amazon doesn't know how to ship it properly. Mine had partial internal pieces broke because they tossed it in an oversized box with little padding. Otherwise excellent for the money lid fits securely and has ample room pretty good quality.
