My cat is always throwing litter out of his box and this mat has helped so much with collecting the litter. I just empty the litter that gets on the mat back into the box and it’s all clean! You can also clean it as well I use soap and water. Worth the money for the price.

Been about 2 weeks of using this and it's so much better than the other one we had. The material is a bit flimsy.. But it should be an issue if you don't have a curious and destructive cat like we do! (He likes to pull up the corners and tear off the material). It catches the litter from their paws better than our other one. Cleaning is extremely easy. Pick it up and dump out the litter in the trash. Give it a rinse every so often. There are better mats.. But much more expensive. If you're on a budget and still want a good mat, try this one out! ... show more

I only wish I had this sooner! We have to keep the cat litter in our bathroom to keep it away from the dog and it was so annoying always stepping on litter. This mat captures everything! What a smart design and so great to keep things clean! I would buy again.

I loved the idea of this cat litter mat, and I will say that it does a great job of trapping litter in the top layer. However, the foam material is folded up in shipping, and I cannot get it to lay flat on the floor. I even laid it under something heavy for a few days, but it still didn’t work. I’ve had the mat for about 2 weeks, and it works okay for trapping litter, but litter gets underneath the mat due to it not sitting flat on the floor. If your cat kicks a lot of litter outside of the box, I would maybe recommend a different mat. ... show more

The mat works as advertised and contains the litter my cat tracts out of his litter pan. It is easy to empty, just open the one end over a trash can and shake. The only trouble I've had is the mat doesn't lie flat despite following the instructions. I've had to soak the mat at one point because it had a urine smell. But that took care of the problem. Works as designed, litter tossed from the box or stuck on the cat’s paws fall into the holes when the cat exits the box and does not spread across the floor. I’m not too sure about this product yet. I bought it to put under the litter box. But I have been trying to flatten it since it came in about 5 days ago. It’s not quite flat yet. I did buy one that had 4+ stars, was recommended and was on the less expensive end. But I’m not 100% sold on it yet. It may be going back. It is one of the ones that you can open and dump the litter out of it, which is why I bought it. I probably should have gotten one that a little larger, so if I decide to keep it, I may have it only partially under the litter box and the rest sticking out so the cat can actually walk on it to catch the littler from her feet.
