I got this for my kitten's litter box because I wanted something to mask the scent. It's been a few weeks now and it does the job well and lasts a while. When she poops, it smells like detergent instead of stinking up the place. It is definitely not dust free. Whenever you pour it, there is a huge dust cloud, so if that's a deal breaker, this isn't for you. The clumping is good for the most part but there are a few pieces that get stuck to the bottom of her litter box. I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes. I switched to this about a year ago and, overall, I'm quite happy with my choice. I use it in my Litter Robot and it works really well. PROS: Clumping: The litter clumps very well, forming tight clumps that are very easy to scoop. Odor Control: The Litter Robot already does a tremendous job keeping the odor practically nonexistent but this litter takes it to a whole new level. I will say, when you first pour it out, the fragrance is rather strong but, after a few minutes, it is complete fragrance free and remains odor free for days until I change out the liner. CONS: I feel like the cons for this are just typical issues to have with litter. Dust: Especially when doing a change out, the dust is quite strong. It does dissipate quickly though. Tracking: Like all litter, this one tracks out of the box but having a litter mat helps tremendously. ... show more

I have been through many different brand of cat litter. Each one has had its flaw. Either it didn't clump or it didn't mask the smell or you had to change it out too often. When i saw this i thought ok lets give it a try. I wish i would have used it sooner. Its great at clumping. It locks in the smell. I have reduced the how often i do a full litter change. I’ve been using this type of cat litter for a couple years now and me and my cats both love it. It does put out a lot of dust when you put it in the box, but it does have a fresh smell to it and that really helps a lot when the litter boxes is in your bedroom.
