I think this product got a bad rap so it deserves a couple minutes to place my vote. Quite frankly, the fact that they've figured out how to get a 30Kg piece of furniture over the ocean to my doorstep in the midwest USA without damaging a single piece is astonishing. Poor instructions was one complaint - I'll admit this kit has a tremendous number of pieces and is a challenge to assemble, but the instructions can be followed with a little common sense. Double check yourself carefully along the way. Unboxing was almost entertainment itself, because there must have been a dozen layers, all packed with custom-sized materials - the results speak for themselves but I don't feel like taking a photo sorry. The locking drawer was an unnecessary plus to me, but it is solid and functional. Don't lock your Rolex collection in it, but they make no claim to that level of security anyway. Worthy of note, the kit has at least 20 spots that are countersunk, with plastic inserts pressed in them. I sighed the moment I saw them, but was impressed again. Of all the self-tapping studs you thread into these inserts, only ONE of them spun the slightest, and it was like at the back corner of a drawer or something. It didn't lower the integrity of this very well-built and beautiful item. The casters were another unnecessary bonus. Honestly, they don't roll for crap in year-old, thick carpet, but I'm happy it has wheels at all because it does make it easier to move around & hasn't snagged the carpet. One last point - there's a few spots where the materials bared their particle board innards. That was a plus to me, since it's a lot sturdier than that fake stuff that some try to call wood. ... show more

Let me start off by saying this item was amazingly packaged!! The corners of the larger pieces were reinforced with thick plastic protectors and each piece was surrounded by thick styrofoam and foam sheets in between all pieces. It also came sooner than expected. Every piece was clearly labeled as well as the hardware. While it was a little time consuming (2 hours by myself and a lil help of my drill) it was the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together!! The instructions were easy to follow and flowed nicely. It is a gorgeous piece that is well built and sturdy! I am beyond pleased with this and would definitely recommend it!! ... show more

First thing. You must appreciate that this is NOT made of wood. It is a wood chip and glue "pressed board" product and as such if you have not had experience with these things you can ruin it. That said, follow the directions, in order, and do not over tighten. I've done a lot of these things, and this is one of the better made and is well thought out. Looks great assembled! I needed to make two modifications. I found that screw C (M4x18) all 6 of them were a couple of mm short and would not engage the drawer pulls as is. My solution was to use my power drill to make countersinks in the inside drawer holes so the screws would fasten. (Note: generally speaking NEVER use power tools on these kinds of projects.) My second problem was in using screw E (M3.5x12) on the drawer glides (steps 1,2,4) If you find like I did that you cannot get the screw completely flush, when you put the drawers into the unit they will not fully close without a hard push. It's the back screw that is hanging the drawer up from closing smoothly. My fix was to use another power tool, a Dremel, and smooth down the screws. All in all a great product. ... show more

Arrived well. My best friend and I built in about 1.5 hour almost 2hrs. But we were chatting and hanging out. The instructions were good, just pay clooooose attention haha to the photo. This is a decent cabinet but the instructions were not easy to follow. It took 3 adults over an hour and a half to assemble. I don’t like how the power cord sits. It should run through the back of the cabinet instead of hanging down the side making the first shelf hard to place anything on it.

Great quality for the price! It has a thick vinyl like laminate that seems to resist scratches and liquids. I’ve been using it as a printer stand and storage for toner and paper. Has locking wheels to keep it where I want it and has been working great!

All said, I’m happy with this purchase. Just a few notes for future buyers. Looks good in terms of aesthetics, the black fits other furniture of similar finish as you’d expect. Once the wheels are locked and it on a level surface, it seems sturdy enough for anything. I’ll be trying a 3D printer on it, so I may update if required. Not the simplest build at some steps especially solo, as 1-2 steps require aligning 6+ dowels. You’re going to want a ratcheting screw driver because there is a lot of screw operations. While the cast cams to assemble the panels show a Phillips head and one is provided… do yourself a favor and use a flat head. The metal is soft and chips under the provided screwdriver easily. The sales images are a bit sneaky in showing the cord for the top side plug routing out the side in one image but not in others. There is NOT any sort of hole in the back panel to run the cable behind the unit. You can DIY remedy this with a hole saw (I used 1-3/4 because it’s what I had, smaller would work) if you have one and a couple of stick-on wire management clamps.
