I needed a table for my home computer printer. I also needed some drawers for a ream of printer paper, room for envelopes, staples, stamps, note paper and other office supplies. This unit worked out perfect and in addition left me three additional drawers for more items I really didn't think about earlier. The build-out was very simple if you follow the instructions. See, I'm one of those guys who "builds-it-first-and reads-the-instructions-later." Don't be that guy! Pick up each piece and fiddle with it, test the metal shelf sliders so you know the tops from the bottoms, and the fronts from the backs. Even the drawer bottoms have an inside vs. an outside, but you gotta look for them. The instructions make all that info clear -- don't try to rush through it. The instructions suggest you work on a carpet or a large piece of cardboard to avoid any scrapping or scratching. Do that. The painted finish from the manufacturer is perfect -- don't ruin it. PS: I was so pleased with the outcome of the printer stand I since ordered the matching 3-drawer file cabinet, also available from Amazon. They look like a matching pair. How cool am I? ... show more

This is my second cabinet from Devaise and I really like it. I use it in my sewing room. I am an "almost" seventy year old woman and have put together two Devaise cabinets. I found the instructions easy to follow and I like that they include a real screwdriver (I used a powered one) and lots of extra screws and parts. It took me a couple of hours for each one, which I didn't think was bad. They are heavy. I find the quality to be very good. The backs of the cabinets are solid, not just a piece of cardboard you nail on and the drawers open and close smoothly. I would highly recommend this brand. ... show more

Great once assembled but word to the wise: USE YOUR OWN DANG SCREWDRIVER. I started this project using the provided <cheap> screwdriver because a.) I thought it'd be easier to use and b.) I was being lazy and didn't want to walk 4 feet to locate my own in the garage... Let's just say I regretted my laziness; once I had my own screwdriver in my hand, it was a breeze. I was able to put all the pieces together myself (126 lbs soaking wet with no building capabilities) without any hiccups. So far it's been perfect to use in my art studio. I knocked off a star because there's minimal scratching on a few pieces.. and because of the awful, no good, cheap, very bad provided screwdriver. (Yes, I'm holding a grudge.) ... show more

This cabinet has been a life changer for all my nail supplies! The level of organization this provides is outstanding. Deep drawers that will hold 'most' nail polish bottles- the sides are deceivingly low however the clearance when shutting the drawer is there. The cabinet was easy to assemble- a lot of repetitive actions but nothing complicated. The packaging for shipping was beyond outstanding. I was fully blown away at the level of the protection inside the box. It was quite impressive. My one complaint would have been this sticker on the top of the cabinet .... I was initially afraid it would leave residue but I thankfully was able to carefully peel it off without damage or stickiness left behind. I understand the reasoning behind this labels- but they should never ever be put right on top of furniture like this. ... show more

I bought 2 of these despite swearing I would never buy self assembly furniture again, my main problem with them being if you buy it, assemble it and something is wrong, you then have to take the whole thing apart to ship back, so it's a good 2-4 hours work for nothing but these seem the perfect size for my needs so I bought them. the first one I put together fine, although it took nearly 3 hours to do. The 2nd one, I had the experience of putting the first together, so I probably could have done it in about an hour, hour and a half. But then the last drawer, the holes and the screws/ dowels on one part just didn't line up. Measuring the holes, etc it looks like the holes on one part would not line up with it's component. So I try calling but the company is closed. But from past experience (remember how I said I would never buy one of these again) that they'd just tell me to take the WHOLE darned thing apart and ship it back to them when all I needed was the replacement pieces for the one drawer. So I said "screw it" and drilled the holes myself according to how the fit should be (pictures attached) hoping that would work, but as you can see from the final picture, it didn't. That drawer just won't go in properly. I'm guessing because not just the holes but the screw insertion/ dowel insertion holes were also somewhat off. And frankly, getting the drawers on this one together was very techy work, I suspect I just ended up with a badly produced one. Which means I hit a 1 out of 2 ratio for getting a poorly made product from this company, so will NEVER buy anything they make again. I basically took a huge loss on putting these together because each one ended up taking over two hours when without the issues it should have taken one, and the 2nd unit the last drawer doesn't even fit. edit; literally minutes after the initial review, I figured out the problem (shown in the last (1st?) pictures; the front drawer part, the cut of the bottom of the shelf wood is supposed to slot into, was cut at an angle and not straight. So the holes are right, it's the angle means the bottom shelf "wood" doesn't fit in properly. I kinda forced it in so now the drawer closes neatly, but it's a total crapped up, unusable drawer now. if I could do 0 stars I would. ... show more

No issues with assembly other than taking a few hours to put together. The hardware is an improvement over similar items I have assembled. There are NO cast parts that will fall apart when you torque the clamps down. The round clamps that hold everything together are all made of sturdy metal that will not deform or break. There also is a couple of extra pieces of all hardware included. The instructions are clear. Just be aware assembly will take a while to complete. ... show more
