I'm no stranger to putting stuff like this together, and it took me almost two hours to put it together. A few pointers: Only like 5 boards were labeled. Be careful, I messed up and switched two of the drawer sides not realizing it made a different and had to just make do with what I had, ended up splitting some of the wood, but not in a noticeable spot and I don't think it will hurt it moving forward. The bottom drawer sides are different than the two top, and looking back I should've realized it, but when I was going through the boards, I didn't notice a different in the boards. The instructions are your typical terribly translated into English instructions and ended up using them as a basic guideline because they weren't very helpful. Only the top drawer locks. Not sure why the drawer that will actually have sensitive documents in it (aka the actual filing cabinet drawer) doesn't lock, but yeah I now have a drawer that I can lock. That I will never lock. It will easily tip over if you're not careful. I have my printer on top of it, and I definitely have to be super careful when moving it at all. It also is sitting on carpet, so that could be what's causing the issue, but even still, be careful when putting anything on top. Overall, the end product look so much better than I thought it would. It definitely not a super sturdy piece (I prefer solid wood) but honestly, one of the best I've ever seen in terms of quality and sturdiness. The media could not be loaded. The directions aren't very comprehensive, but they include everything you need to know as long as you look closely at the diagrams. It comes with a little screwdriver. I literally bruised my hand a bit while forcing the screws in before deciding to switch to the drill. Once (very carefully) using the drill, it went smoothly as can be. I'm very happy with the results. I opted not to use the wheels after a few other reviews mentioned the wheels making it too easy to tip. Very sturdy as is. I also didn't install the lock because I have no need for it, and just used a couple of the included hole covers to camouflage where the lock should be. Drawers work very well. This is a great cart for the office. The white is a nice clean color while the top is actually wide enough to fit a larger printer. The locking drawer is nice and assembly was easy. The wheels are fairly and allow the cart to move around, they are however the standard plastic quality wheels you get at this price point. Material feels somewhat durable, however it can be damaged as there are marks from just being delivered and before being assembled. The few marks are not noticeable unless looking for things and having a cart big enough to support our large printer is a major benefit. Easy to assemble, moves around easy enough on tile. Product is fine for price point is fine I guess, but based off the reviews I was expecting a better file cabinet. the quality of the drawers aren't great. They hit against each other when sliding in and out. the bars that hold the file folders in the bottom drawer move to easily. The locking drawer only locks the top drawer. ... show more

Do not. I repeat. Do not buy this. You will waste your time and drive yourself crazy trying to put it together. I ignored all of the negative reviews because it was the only thing that I thought would fit my needs and I’m regretting it right now. I’m really good at putting things together. But, this thing is impossible. It’s been sitting in my living room 1/2 assembled all week. I finally came back to finish the drawers and am stuck on the file cabinet drawer. One of the small, metal balls that helps the drawer slide just fell out, and I have little pieces of pressboard wood in my hands. This is just not the vibe. I hate this thing. It’s also really short, which I knew. So, I purchase 5” legs in hopes of lifting it up a bit. The instructions are terrible. There seem to be extra parts. I’m so tired of junk products on this website. Ugh. Hate it here. Take me back to the 90s when things were made well and you could compare them in-person in-store. SMH ... show more

This cart is perfect for my office, but when the flatpack arrived I immediately worried. Box corners looked worn and how many parts would there be? These are not typically my strong suit. My experience was exceptional! In an hour and a half, following the many paged and well written guide, I was finished! Drawers, especially files with full extensions, are a usual fail point for me but this one went perfectly! Inside the packaging the box corners were protected by sturdy, hard plastic made for shipping. Every predrill was perfectly placed and depths were consistent throughout. Every component well labeled, and i used my own tools for personal comfort but the enclosed would have been sufficient. Honestly, if Devaise consulted with other flatpack makers, the format would probably receive a much improved reputation.
