    • Great torch - figured out a trick
This is really awesome small, directed, torch flame - perfect for small work. I bought one of these torches in 2021 and after 2 years the flame had shrunk so small it was hard to use and light, so I bought another one in 2023. The new one has the original nice long flame on the highest rotation setting. And, of course only 1 day later, I realized that maybe I could correct the prior one, and quickly discovered that the black adjustment knob on the bottom slips on its stem... So it simply wouldn't turn the flame up without the knob hitting the built-in stop. (1) EASY FIX: Just pull the black adjustment knob off the bottom (it just presses on/off), you'll see the knurled stem the knob fits on. Use a small straight screwdriver and adjust the flame directly first, then push the knob back on. Pay attention to the rotation stop pin on the lighter side, and stop bar inside the back of the knob. All fixed - now I have two very awesome little lighters. (2) Maybe one other tip - my first one doesn't hold gas long (we'll see on #2), so I carry a small 18 ml butane refill in my same camping case, then each trip I only refill the lighter for 1-2 seconds and it's good for the entire trip. My last 18 ml refill bottle lasted over 2 years and many trips. (3) Okay, last tip as I see in some reviews that people have trouble with it lighting on the first click... With both of mine, if I squeeze the light button slowly, it lights every time, first time. But if I snap it down quickly, it is hit-or-miss on lighting up. Okay so i got the lighter came with a 12month warranty card. No clue if it's valid since I was only able to replace it once and after was offered a refund however this lighter is awesome. At first I couldn't fill it but it turned out it was because if the type butane I was using. If you are going to buy this I recommend using zippy butane because it works. I was using a different butane that was not compatible and I was going to return it thinking it was the torch but it WASN'T. TORCH WORKS AMAZING. I love it esp for what I need it for. ... show more

Very difficult to fill. I tried 3 different cans and all were problematic. Highest setting gave a very low flame easily blown out by the slightest breeze. Bumped it up to 4 stars since the vendor reached out and provided a full refund. I must have gotten a lemon, always a possibility. I appreciate the good customer service! ... show more

I've had this lighter for several months now it still works as good now as it did the day it arrived. I smoke cigars and the bendable neck makes lighting my cigars much easier I recommend this lighter to anyone that's looking for a butane lighter

    • Just a very decent lighter with a few issues that will come with it

Well let me just say that for the most part I’m very happy with it but yeah it does have some things that I just don’t like. Like how it just will not light up on the first time that it will normally take a few times to get it to light. Then there is the bit how it is just so very hard to turn the dial to turn up or down the flame so you just have to deal with it and hope that you can deal with it. You just don’t really have that much control over it. So you just deal with it and hope that you don’t have to adjust it at all. So I just thought with it being new and all that I wouldn’t have any of the problems that I am having. I bought it because I thought I needed to since my other one is doing the same as the new one I just thought that it was getting old and so I just got a new one only to find that the same thing that happens to the old one is still happening to the new one. I’m just very surprised with it that I just don’t know what to think of say about that. So yeah for the most part it is a very decent lighter if you can just get past the real problems little problems that it has then you would have a great lighter and you will be very happy with it. I’m just saying what I feel are just little problems that you would just have to get used to for it to be one that you would really enjoy that’s all that I’m saying is that you just be careful with what you spend your money on and everything will be just fine in the long run. I’m just saying what I have experienced and I’m just being honest with you so yeah I’m just doing what I can to help you make the right decision for yourself that you can do so that you know that you are getting the best for yourself and everything will be fine I’m sure that you will be fine with this lighter so yeah I would recommend it to just about anyone who wants to get it. For the most part you are getting a good lighter for the money. You will enjoy it very much. I’m just letting you know what I have to do to get it to work for me most of the time. Is all that I’m saying. So you can enjoy it very much so and you will be very happy with it. When I opened the package, removed the lighter from the packaging, filled it with butane, (which was very easy), but it didn't work, no gas was coming out of the nozzle, I tried several times adjusting this and that (recommended by manufacturer) and still didn't work. So I started the return policy and just needed to bring it to UPS and they would take care of the labeling and shipping, but before I could do that I needed to empty it from the butane I filled it with, as I started to empty it my finger pushed the ignitor button and guess what, IT LIT, OMG. IM NOT SURE WHY IT DIDN'T WORK AT FIRST, SO NOW THAT ITS WORKED CONSTANTLY I CANCELLED MY RETURN, IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT EASY TO USE AND BEING ABLE TO POINT THE NOZZLE IN ANY DIRECTION I WANT IS A GOOD THING AND OF COURSE THE PRICE WAS RIGHT! ... show more
