After searching locally for a torch lighter & reading lots of reviews, I decided on these. Some torch lighters require too much thumb pressure to ignite, but in the provided video, it appeared these lit with ease. That video is what sold me. These have all the features needed in a compact torch lighter & they’re pretty too which is a nice bonus. These were needed for UV resin work, as the standard lighter flame drifts straight up & doesn’t efficiently pop the bubbles. No matter what tip I tried on these torches, the fluid would not go in! I've been using torches for years & I know how to fill them. A friend of mine could not do it either. The fluid just kept spraying everywhere except inside the chamber, on both of them. I don't understand what the deal is. AND THEN in the package the torches came in is a 12 month warranty card from the seller saying to contact them by Amazon. Well, I'm here going in circles trying to either contact the seller, or find out how to return these even though the window to return is closed from Amazon, even though I have the card saying I can still do it with the seller. I looked at the seller's store, looked everywhere I could to contact them. But, no. They have it so you can't reach them at all! Bad business! They didn't cost much, but that's not why I'm trying to do this. I needed torches, & I got CRAP! I want a set of WORKING torches, not some worthless plastic pretend torches >.< ... show more

I have not had much success with cheap or high dollar torches. However, This deal was great & they still both work great. No issues really. Well 1. The butane only one kind works because the ring dissappears from fill area. Unsure purpose. But not unusual with alot of torches. Otherwise this is a great purse. This lighter is quite efficient as it operates well with all the windows down. Just make sure to keep it filled with butane for optimal performance. I find that using a higher flame setting yields better results, as the lower setting can be a bit inconsistent. Overall, it's a good quality product that offers great value for the money.
