First, I bought this chair because it was one of few with adjustable arms that also seemed to be built for people on the shorter end (I’m about 5’4”). Delivery was very quick, and the package was in good condition. All tools and parts were included, and the instructions *mostly* clear. The only part of the assembly that I had any trouble with was aligning the arm rest holes with the corresponding holes on the back cushion. It would have been easier with a helper. But it certainly wasn’t impossible. My only complaint, and it’s not really much of one, is that the seat doesn’t seem like it’s 100% flat - as in, it seems like I’m just ever-so-slightly leaning forward. I’ve locked the tilt mechanism, but there is still a tiny bit of forward motion if I move in the seat. It’s not significant though. I’m wondering if the big cap thingy underneath the seat, near the height adjustment tab might affect the tilt at all? But I can’t seem to loosen or tighten it, so I’m probably wrong. If I was going to be über picky, I’d wish that there was more lumbar support - or rather, that the lumbar support it does have was a few inches lower. But I’m pretty sure that’s something that would be different for everyone, so it’s not really something i can say is a problem with this chair. If it becomes an issue, I’ll add a lumbar pillow. All in all, I’m very pleased so far. I needed chair arms that could be moved out of the way since I use an antique desk and wouldn’t be able to slide the chair underneath fully otherwise. The height of the back seems just about right for me. I imagine it might be too low for someone taller, so that’s precisely what I was needing. And the price is right to boot. Edit: I’ve changed my review to 5 stars. I discovered that I’d put the arm base on the seat backwards. D’OH ... show more

The chair is comfortable and even has a feature they never even mentioned. The chair rocks! Literally. The arms fold up for easy in and out or if you don't like arms just keep them up, the chair is well padded and roomy. Everything about this chair is great. Oh, and did I mention it's great for the back. Writers, business-people, gamers, and artists will be very pleased, and yes, I will purchase others from this company. Needed a chair with lower back support for my home office and this is actually really great. Lumbar support is much better than other chairs i’ve had. Easy to assemble, got it done by myself in 30 mins. Definitely made for shorter people. I am 5’1. Lower back support usually hits my mid back on regular chairs but this one actually hits my lower back, and the neck support is actually at my neck and not used as a pillow. Probably wouldn’t be good for a tall person. Highly recommend for short people needing lower back support ... show more
