I am absolutely in love with the smell of this dye. It smells AMAAAZZZIING. It went on very easy and the coverage is pretty good. I got a couple spots on my skin (like ya do) but they wiped off as easily as they went on. I just dyed it a couple days ago so I can't speak to longevity yet (I'll try to remember to update this review in a couple weeks but no promises). My hair is very fine and already a light brown/ dark blonde. When my hair was lightened, it got down to somewhere in a 9-10 range. I've been looking for a good grey for forever. I have been disappointed in most of the ones I have tried. And honestly, I'm a little disappointed with Brad Mondo for one reason and one reason alone, the color. Seriously, everything else is wonderful, the application is easy, the smell is amazing, the packaging was secure, cleanup was easy, yadda yadda yadda. But the color turned into more of a slate blue than a slate grey just because of how dark it turned out initially. I'm guessing once I've washed it a couple times, it'll look more like what I was expecting. But that first look in the mirror took me by surprise. Still better than the others I've tried as it at least has potential to get where I want it. As I mentioned, my hair is very fine and takes color very easily. In the future, it may be as simple as not leaving it on as long. I'm pretty willing to chock it up to user error, somewhat. But my hair was very very VERY similar to the coloring in the 9-10 sample pics and the sample results look much lighter and greyer than what I got. The blue tones are much more pronounced in real life. But that's the risk with trying to get grey hair, I guess. ... show more

People say it's too thick and messy but I honestly prefer that over some dyes that feel like water and are hard to apply to the hair. It honestly went on super easy and any product that gets on skin comes off just as easily. My hair was at a level 7/8 with the tips being a 9 from previous bleaching and the color came out almost like the promo image, just darker. I put the berry color in for about 30 minutes and let it sit while I took a bath. I also used a plastic cap over it to retain moisture. My hair is pretty long and I almost used the entire container to do from roots to tip but still have some left over if I have the need for any touch ups. After the 30 minutes, I washed with cold water and used no shampoo as suggested by Brad Mondo. There are a lot of people who say it bleeds and I have to say that it bleeds waaaaay less than any other product I've used of this color. My bathtub wasn't even stained after, nor were my hands. I also bought black towels specifically for the times I dye my hair as to not ruin my other towels. After previous experience, I also make sure that my sheets are also a dark shade the first few weeks after dying my hair. My hair also feels so nicely conditioned after using this product, which is really rare from most dyes I have used besides Matrix or Iroiro. Artic Fox, Manic Panic, Ion and Splat do not compare at all as they left my hair feeling dry. The only issue I have is with the packaging and late delivery. My container came broken with some of the dye already crusted around the seal, felt like a return in that aspect. My delivery was also over 24 hours late and because I bleach my hair the day before I dye it, I had to deal without it being colored to a job interview. :( But I was not going to go spend even more money when I had already bought this product. This is the reason I deducted a star. Overall, I would so far recommend this product right this moment after dying it. I may come back to edit my review of add a new one in a couple weeks to say how long the dye actually lasts for. But since I only wash my hair once a week, I'm sure it will last at least a month. ... show more

First off, I want to say this smells AMAZING and I got the Garnet mask. I usually use Overtone's semi-permanent color hair masks but wanted to give this one a try, it didn't disappoint, now I have 2 go to brands I love. Directions were simple and to the point. Wear gloves! It didn't stain my neck and ears when I got some on my skin which was nice. I had my boyfriend help me put it on my roots since I can't see behind my head, I have a level 8-7 balayage, long thin hair, and only put it on the lower half of my head (parted my hair in a half ponie/bun) and made sure it was HEAVILY saturated. I let the mask sit for about 30 mins and wrapped it in plastic wrap just to insure I got the results I wanted (didn't need it, probably would have been fine for 20), then I rinsed out with COLD water. For those seeing a lot of bleeding I suggest cold water, if you use warm or hot water you'll see color bleed during every wash and your color won't last as long. This was a fun little experiment and I still have plenty of product left over for maybe 3 more maintainence applications. I'm happy with my purchase and next time I think I'll try the purple. 😁 ... show more

I bought this because unfortunately I didn’t have the money to go to my main salon at the time and wanted to do something fun for Halloween. It smelled great and worked great in my hair. Only flaw is the Super orange has an hard time picking up if your hair is an bit dark. That was fault did to having some growth at my roots. ... show more

The berry color was a good color match, gentle on my already-colored hair, smells pleasant, and was easy to apply - however, it just won’t stick-to/color my thicker silver-gray hairs, which kinda defeats the purpose for me personally.
