  • Handrail is very sturdy…
Size: 5 Steps
The media could not be loaded. Very easy to put together! Took maybe 15 min! Looks very nice. Quality seems good. Took about 1 1/2 weeks to get here. Came with hardware so it can be mounted onto wood or concrete either one. I would highly recommend this! I looked at so many before I chose this one. It is a Great Buy for the price! ... show more

  • Easy to install
Size: 5 Steps
Easy installation. Great quality! Looks great! I put mine on a cement 3 step pad, & it fit all the way to the house without attaching it to the house itself. Thankfully! It did exactly what I needed it to do!

  • There's Nothing Easy About Installing These Rails on Concrete Steps!
Size: 5 Steps
This review is not so much about the quality, brand, or design of these steps, tho I will touch on those issues a little too. It's more about the sheer difficulty of securing these rails to concrete steps. First, unless the concrete you have is the consistency of butter or dry wall, there is NO WAY you are going to be able to use a hand drill to drill your anchor holes. Maybe an impact drill will work, but you are really going to need a hammer drill. There is a reason why the cheap drill bit that comes in the kit has 4 slots at the base. It is designed for a hammer drill for a reason. I still had to go to Lowes to buy a better drill bit so prepare to tack on another $15 onto the price of these steps at least. Thank God my brother-in-law had a hammer drill. Otherwise, the job would not have been completed. I would have had to buy or rent a hammer drill to install these rails. Second, beware of the horrible concrete anchors that come with this rail kit. They are flimsy & cheap so be warned. Third, there is no way you can get away with pre-drilling your anchor holes first and then expect the rail base plate holes to line up. Not going to happen in a million years. We had to bore out all 4 holes of each metal base plate first, using a metal drill bit. We then positioned each base plate on the concrete then drilled the holes from the top of the anchor plate with the hammer drill. The anchors were pushed into the holes from the top of the metal base plate and then secured by tightening the anchor nut. Attacking this step from the bottom of the base plate was absolutely futile. Lastly, the base covers for the columns are cheap plastic. They look terrible, like plastic would against nice black powder coated metal rails. They should have been made with the same metal too. Anyway, they are up. And they are sturdy. And they will serve the purpose for our homeowner's insurance company that is sucking us dry with inspection infractions like step rails. Good luck with the installation! It took 2 people 2 hours for mine. ... show more

  • My wife had hip surgery and I needed two handrails in a hurry.
Size: 4 Steps
These are perfect. Quick and easy to install. Installed by myself in a few hours.

  • Good value
Size: 5 Steps
First time for me drilling in concrete to install. I had to buy a hammer drill. This product has enough play forgiveness to allow for a little placement error which helped me. Drilled holes have to be spot on when drilling in concrete so take your time. This item comes with wood screws as well if you are lucky to be installing into wood which is a lot nicer, less noisy and cleaner. The rail looks good, I think adds value to property and is sturdy to guide people who need it to get safely up and down stairs. ... show more

  • Outstanding all-in-one solution for adding a handrail
Size: 4 Steps
We needed to add a handrail for insurance reasons, this was an excellent solution. In the past I had purchased Steeltek fittings from Lowes which were great, but took twice the time, at twice the cost (but twice the sturdiness) to install. This looks almost as good and was installed in less than an hour. I was particularly impressed that the package include concrete anchors AND a masonry drill bit sized for them. These drill bits if purchased alone are usually $10, so it was outstanding to not need to go buy ADDITIONAL hardware and tools, beyond what I already had (fortunatley, I had a hammerdrill already). Great product, I've already bought another for another rent house. ... show more

  • You will need a file to fix the "D" part. It will not fit unless you file it.
I have attempted to put this item together, but I am having an issue of putting the top rail on to the feet. The feet will not fit into the Part D as instructed on the manual. The front of the instructions Says to contact them at anytime when you encounter a problems with assembly. There is not instructions or phone numbers in which to contact them with my problem. The item is outside of the return window with Amazon. It is still on under a five year warranty. Can someone please help. Thank you. Update: My husband filed the "D" Part on all three of the sets of handrails that we purchased. Other than that they were fairly simple to put together. They look nice. ... show more

  • Missing piece
Size: 3 Steps
These were ok rails until I had to send them back due to a missing piece in the box. The material was not too high quality but that comes with the price. Easy instructions for install but was not enthused of the cheaper plastic covers for the bottom of the rails.
