Ok- so I wanted to love this opener so badly. When I first came across it I knew I had to have. It’s the perfect spooky fun seasonal opener. A cute conversational piece. However, I opened this the other day to open two bottles of wine and found it extremely difficult and thought the opener may break. It was extremely difficult to get the cork out. Will likely resort to my usual corkscrew . :/ perhaps I got a janky model but i doubt it will last long. The item is great: a perfect gift. However, when I received it, the black cables that hold the item in place within the packaging were ripped apart, meaning I had to open the packaging myself, clean off the cardboard dust from the item and repackage it so I could actually give it as a gift.
