These are wonderfully affordable and nice quality. They’re soft to the touch, seem like they will vacuum easily and the color is accurate to the picture (I got the brown ones). They do come folded and the adhesive is not very aggressive (a plus for me - my steps are painted and I was a little concerned about peeling) so they stick up a bit in the middle but I’m sure that will flatten with time and use. They were easy to peel and stick, were easy to reposition but still stuck perfectly, and they really help our dog with going up and down the oak stairs. Not really carpet, more like a felt. Its the cheapest i found and only need temporarily before we are ready to re-do the stairs so i am not concerned. If i needed something longer term, this would not be it. I would spend more for nicer carpeting. The sticky back is good (not great adhesion on unfinished wood, but i thought that would happen) and prevents me for having to purchase some other method of keeping them from slipping. ... show more
