The media could not be loaded. This quite possibly could be the best purchase I've ever made on Amazon.... and I shop A LOT. Shipping was fast and packaging was great. The fan isn't wood but the mid-weight material lends to the incredible air flow. I appreciated the weight when installing which lended to installation being a one person job. There is absolutely no way you can decipher the material unless you assembled and install the fan. The fan is beautifully minimalistic and looks freaking amazing. Ultimately, it's just designed really well and very quiet. The remote is an added bonus and operates as advertised. Worth every penny. Run now. There is a bit of inconsistency with the VID provided for installation, particularly. for fan w/o light. The plastic piece on the bracket in the VID and in instructions is not an included part in the box. This made me think I wasn't provided with all the parts. I figured it out and am very pleased. As mentioned, received it last week of June, used 3 months last summer and now the remote won’t work. Doesn’t connect to the fan anymore rendering it useless. Nice decorative fan, was good when it worked…. Watch for longevity issues

Updated review. The supplier answered email and sent a new receiver and remote for the fan. The fan worked normally after the new receiver was installed. We really like the design of the fan and it is very quiet. The supplier will respond to problems, it just may take a while. I loved the look of this before I purchased it. It was easy to install and looks great. I wanted something large to fill the space and move air and this fits the bill completely. Not your regular fan. It has a different blade style which is really attractive.
