So this model appears to be exactly the same as a similarly priced green one with similar pictures. The model number and ID tags on it are exactly the same too to support that. That being said they operate on a different channel in the 2.4gHz band so you can race them at the same time! Overall the car is great. It’s quite fast and comes pretty close to the advertised 40 km/h, it’s nearly as fast as cars driving by on a city street! The little pins that hold the shell down do have a habit of coming out but they give you a bunch of extras. Speaking of that, the baggy of extra parts is awesome to have as this car is quite fast and will crash and parts will definitely break. The car is pretty easy to work on for replacing parts, though the included screw driver is kind of garbage. The car comes with two battery packs and two chargers. The batteries last about 15-20 minutes and then they charge up pretty quickly, maybe 45 minutes? The adjustments on the car are helpful, full throttle trim is pretty tough to control and takes very small inputs for steering. Turning it most all the way down makes it a decent toy for younger kids in the 5-8 range or for driving indoors in smaller spaces. The plastic shell can take some abuse, but I would be curious to see where you can get replacement ones as there isn’t one with the spare parts. Overall, for what this costs, it’s a great toy, and feels much more expensive. Time will tell how long it lasts but it definitely gives a great first impression after a week of rolling around with it! ... show more

For the price, this little thing is awesome!! I couldn’t be more impressed with this 1:18 scale RC car! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell it was a good quality for the price and attention to detail. The high speed is dang good, and the 4x4 capability makes it perfect for a kiddos first “hobby grade” basher. Whether it’s on dirt trails, grass, or even through puddles (thanks to its waterproof design), it performs flawlessly every time. The two included batteries are a game-changer, providing up to 40 minutes of fun, which is plenty for extended play sessions. The 2.4GHz remote works well, and the responsive controls make it a joy to drive. It’s perfect for both kids and adults—I’ve had just as much fun as my son playing with it! I purchased this 4WD RC car, and kids are having a blast! The suspension is large enough to allow for jumping small objects or sticks in the yard. The car’s speed is plenty fast! The range of the cotroller is also very good; kids can easily drive it down the block without losing connection with the truck. The included rechargeable batteries are a great bonus, providing a good run time. The waterproof design allows kids to run it through rain, mud, and grass without issues. This RC car, while smaller than more expensive models, performs well for its price point and is suitable for children around 8 years old, despite the 14+ age recommendation. The build quality appears decent despite the plastic construction, but I believe it can handle rough play and the powerful motor provides exciting speeds. The included spare parts are a welcome addition. Adjustable speed is a good option, allowing for safer operation for younger children and extending battery life beyond the advertised 20 minutes. The USB charging and iron-based battery chemistry are also pluses. Occasional syncing issues between the car and remote, two-hour charge time are minor drawbacks i guess.
