    • nice grill upgrade
I wanted to upgrade my Pit Boss grill, and this was the solution. It took a screwdriver and a few minutes. The smoking will be more intense after you do this. If you want to plug the holes on your main barrel, get 1/2 inch knockout plugs ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CQ81PLXV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and remove the rain cover with a screwdriver ( inside the barrel ), and put the plugs in with a hammer.     • Not bad but vent cap screw bent
The overall quality of the chimney was good. There were a few knicks in the finish when received. It bolted right up to my pit boss with the bolts provided. However, when I tried to thread the vent cap on the bolt would not thread past the first few threads. I ensured that the bolt was not cross-threaded and I tried to use a wrench to thread it in further and the bolt twisted/bent. I had some spare bolts and found one that threaded smoothly unfortunately it was to short. I took the original and the spare to the store to to buy a longer bolt and nuts. It seems like the original was standard and the spare was metric. I don’t know if the paint or excess material on the threads caused the problem or if the hole was truly threaded for metric because that is what I ended up using and it was smooth. ... show more
