    • From Defective to Effective
2023 Update: This small tower heater is being used for its 2nd fall/winter season. It is still operating very well. Last year, I had also bought a generic small oscillating space heater that never got used, because of the effectiveness of the Voweek in a 12x12 bedroom, so it got stored in its original box. When removed this season to be used in another bedroom, the generic failed to operate at all! Yup, I'm a dedicated fan of Voweek! ADDENDUM 2022: Gladly I am now able to rave about the Voweek 16" space heater! Voweek promptly responded with an exact replacement that was packaged properly. The heater works precisely as described & has a low white noise that is not distracting. I like its sleek appearance. It has an easily read LED panel. Since it is a tower, it takes up only about 5" of surface space. I am so satisfied with this space heater, I hope to get a couple more next winter. What a racket! No one can relax, let alone sleep, with the unbelievable LOUD noise. How does such a defect escape notice when going through quality control? I purchased this space heater based solely on the great reviews. I've requested that this return be replaced with the exact same model, again having faith in the reviews. I hope to be able to render an entirely different, much improved review when I get its replacement. Although the fan was secure in its own manufacturer's box, it was included in a much larger shipping box along with 2 books (which were to be gifts for a loved one) without padding. The fan was shifting freely inside the larger box & marred & bent the 2 books. Yeah, I'm pretty upset about the whole thing. Oh well, it's not the end of the world. I like the heater. I've had in for a year. My bedroom does not have heat so until I get the fixed, I use a space heater. And I only need it in when it's cold out. For whatever reason, as I'm using it this season, it need seems to blow heat because it always thinks my room is 75 degrees. If I want heat to blow in my cold room, I always have to push it to 77. And if I keep it at 77, it will never go off because my room will never make it to 77 degrees. At the moment, the heater is blow at my bed so when I finally get too hot at night, I wake up and turn it off. I used to just turn it down, but I realized it would never come back on again leaving us cold eventually again. So I might as well just turn it off. ... show more

    • Excellent design and a godsend
The heater was very well packaged and arrived undamaged. The included user manual is clear and easy to understand. The controls are uncomplicated, and I had it up and running immediately. The truth is, I ran out of propane so I lost heat. My dealer eventually got around to delivering. But in the meantime, I wanted to get an efficient electric heater to warm the bedroom. This heater is fantastic. Nother fun fact. It comes with a remote. So even though there are controls on top of the heater, I leave the remote on my night table so I don't have to get out of bed to change a heater setting. The remote is so easy. And it has an oscillating setting so it has a motorized mount and moves left to right at about 45 degrees. It keeps me toasty warm placed about 3-4 feet from my bed. It's not a super powerhouse heater, but for spot heating, I love it. ... show more

It's getting chilly early, and I needed a new room heater. I thought all heaters would do the job, so I was basically checking prices. I browsed around Amazon, watched several videos, and read many comments. This company always had rave reviews, so I decided to go with this model from Dreo, and I'm glad that I did. From the moment I took it out of the box, I realized that it was different, compact and light, but solidly built. I was eager to plug it in and try it out, and that's when I realized how special it was. I touched the button and instantly felt the heat. I continued to check the features, and I realized how quiet it was. As time went by, I frequently turned to check and see if it was still on, and it was, still slowly oscillating and warming the room. I don't know how they do it, but in my opinion, this heater is silent, and the warmth filled the whole room. I do know that I'm very satisfied, and that this purchase was beyond expectations, and the proof of that for me is the fact that this the first review I have ever written. ... show more

Little fan in a tall case with a small heater core. It heats okay within a few feet - and the Operation, 90° Oscillating does not work so the little noisy fan only pushes heat out to a few feet and does not heat up the room efficiently. Yes , it’s noisy

    • Great little heater!
I love this little heater! I use it in my shop, and it puts off a pretty good amount of heat for the size. It keeps me warmer than some of the more expensive ones I've bought. Of course, it doesn't warm the whole shop, but it keeps the area I'm in warm while I'm working out there when it's cold. I really like this heater, and the options are really nice. I like that you can set the temp and make it oscillate. I would recommend this for a small room or if you're just trying to heat yourself in a larger space. ... show more

It says it is 84 in the room, but it is 60. I got this to run at night, so I needed it to be able to shut off automatically, but it constantly changes what the temp is. It does get a room warm quickly and is efficient. So, I plan on using it when I'm in the home.
