I love this heater! I was using a crappy $20 space heater and decided to upgrade, and it's made such a difference! The selling points for me were the remote control, the oscillation, and the thermostat. I love that I can set it to a specific temp and then just forget about it (until I turn it off). With my other heater, I was constantly turning it off and on, rotating it, and adjusting between the two heat settings (high and low). This has 3 heat settings and adjusts itself, so it uses less energy than with me fiddling with it all day. It's also quieter than what I was using. No noticeable smell from mine. It's noticeably cheaper than other brand models that do the same thing, which is why I chose it. It even worked after having liquid spilled on it! Although I kinda wish it hadn't because my friend's dog peed on it and I didn't know until I turned it on and urine steam came shooting out of it. That's a smell I won't forget in a hurry, and now it's baked in. Thank goodness I bought the insurance for it! I'm definitely getting the same model to replace it and am sad I'll have to use the old crappy one until it's delivered. Note that this doesn't have a safety switch on the bottom, so it still runs when knocked over. I recommend not peeing on it, if at all possible. ... show more

We compared 4 different brands of heaters and this was by far the winner. It is amazingly quiet and works like a charm. Heats quickly, turns off quickly, does not blow cold air like some others, automatically turns off and adjusts heat when it reaches a set temperature. It’s lightweight and has a remote, rotates, and I feel safe having my kids around it. Some other heaters turned iff when tipped or moved. This isn’t as sensitive to that. It’s a little hard to figure out how to set it for your personal taste and it’s a little slow to heat up the room BUT it does the job. That’s the most important all the rest are bells and whistles. I’ve about decided what to set it at to keep my room the same temperature all day and night. It’s quiet and so cute and small, it doesn’t take up any space and it doesn’t get hot to the touch. Super powerful and super small. These heat my kids rooms almost instantly on the lowest settings. The fan setting is also great and I love the auto shut off if they forget to turn them off. The remote is also great. They seem durable, they feel substantial. They work well.

I am using it to supplement my HVAC whole house unit which is not energy efficient (new heat pump unit but not good when is cold outside) Spase heater is really quiet, energy efficient, moving hot air in the 70 degrees ark. My 9 Society finches plus 1 egg hatched (baby needs to be kept warm) and my 2 loving parakeets are in the Florida Room which has no a/c or heat. This little "CERAMIC" heater not only looks sophisticated it's safe or birds. I did my research and read somewhere to run the heater in another room on high for 2 days to burn off any non-stick coating. I put the "CERAMIC" heater in the birds room and put it on the lowest heat level which is H1 and in 15 minutes when I checked the room was very cozy and warm. I absolutely recommend this "CERAMIC" heater if you have birds. It's smartly priced and works fantastically and has no harmful elements. I have had this Dreo ceramic heater for two months. It has been steadily getting colder by the day in the PNW and I did not expect to be this satisified. Great features and it's quiet, keeps us warm and the cat loves it. We moved from a much warmer year round climate and found the heating system in our home is great in only one area of the home. I decided to get a second space heater and noticed what appeared to be the same one by a different seller for $15 less. Be careful of the brand, the second one I ordered is very noisy and has no thermostat so it will not turn off when it reaches desired temp. My bad for not paying attention.
