    • Great heater, however...
This is a very nice heater, and it does it's job really well. I use it to heat part of my home (approx. 800 sqft), as I said it does the job very nicely, however... The unit's fan never shuts down. I use the temperature control at 70*, and when the unit gets the room to that temperature, the heat shuts down, but the fan continues to stay on which then just blows cold air. I've tried all the controls and referenced the manual, but can't find anything to indicate I'm doing anything wrong. The heater is near a large chair I use for reading, and when I'd like to maintain my warmth, I get hit with cold air when the heat goes off.. this is very frustrating and why I can't give the unit 5 stars, and possible 4 is being too generous. Every other heater I've ever used like this has always turned the fan off after the heat got up to temperature.. plus I can't imagine that the fan being on constantly is good for the fan, I feel that it's going to wear out prematurely. ... show more

Do not waste your money on this one. It is very expensive and will not even warm up the front of my RV motorcoach on a 55 degree day running on high. It has a temperature setting also but does not turn fan on and off when temp is reached. At that point it just blows cold air until heat kicks back on. Super disappointed in this one because I liked its vertical design to save space in the RV. So unless my is defective, the product would not even warm a closet. ... show more

Very happy with this heater which was purchased to heat a 1000 sf basement which it does. The control panel is on the top and it's very easy to change the settings. I like the fact that it oscillates to distribute heat evenly, and the glowing flame adds a cozy vibe. One minor annoyance - when I turn it on it defaults to fan mode. I assumed that since it's a heater it would start in low heat mode. This was only annoying because I forgot to adjust it a few times, so it was blowing the cold air around. Might've helped if I'd read the operating instructions... ... show more

My husband and I just bought a new house two months prior to blistering cold weather, so we were unaware that our new house would get so cold. We woke up one morning to the house being 48 degrees, and the electrician we called said there was nothing to be done this late in the season and recommended buying some space heaters for the time being. So I did. I bought two of these and was able to get the house brought back up to a livable temperature. They did an amazing job for what they were bought for, and a couple design flaws don’t matter to me in those types of situations. ... show more

Bought this a few years ago for supplementary heating when I’m studying or relaxing and just want a little more heat where I am. Works great… if that’s what you’re using it for. My friends boiler died and has no heat. Grabbed the few heaters I have so she has one in each of the important rooms like the bedrooms and living areas. Put this in the living room falls with in proper measurements yet the room does not go above 58. Works good for supplemental heat but not if you’re relying on it in an emergency. At this price it should 100% work in the living room stand alone. ... show more
