  • UPGRADE THE SERVOS
Color: Wingspan 78 Inch Pnp
PROs The glider came perfectly packaged, double boxed! Easy to assemble out of the box 15-20 minutes. 5-10 minutes of field setup (insert spars and clip the wings to the fuselage and go. Strong climb rate on 3s 2200 battery. (5-10 minutes flying at the club field and around 30 minutes at the beach) Nice cabin for electronics My Setup (and could be much lighter); Spektrum AR637T with Spektrum 3s 2200 It came with a foam camera mountable canopy that needs attention to the clip. Make sure it clips and use tape around the middle to help keep down the vibration. I have an Akaso Sportcam mounted on mine. Would be a nice platform for FPV Cons CHEAP SERVOS; the rudder was the first to go and IN IT's MAIDEN FLIGHT! talk about a tricky landing! ALL control surfaces needed hinge tape as the foam hinge separated exposing the little plastic hinges. Servo AND battery tray are balsa ply and separated after 1 week. (fortunately I have a 3d printer and made my own trays) The Flaps have NO spar in them and need to have the servo moved to the middle of the flap. CG is forward and really needs attention if you are going to use a sport-cam. There is a little hole in the rear of the empennage that I use for weights. I would recommend this glider as a 2nd machine, however with a SMART setup a beginner can fly with ease. My advice would be to upgrade to all metal servos. ... show more

  • A good glider if balanced correctly
Color: Pnp Wingspan 102 Inch
An ok glider, but not recommended for a novice or as a first glider. It needs to be balanced correctly, balance it on the CG dimples under the wings and it flies good. To balance mine, I had to remove the pilot/cockpit, add 1oz to the tail, and use an1800mah 3cell battery. It is not a "Floater", it likes some speed. Not too fast, but not too slow either. ... show more

  • Resilient Sailplane
Color: Pnp Wingspan 102 Inch
Not for beginners. The manual is very poor. However, it flies beautifully once you get everything in place and the CG is on. Actually, it flies better without the man inside, besides he’s on top and you’re not going to see him anyway. The canopy is very fragile and broke on 1st landing. Recommend having more than 1, and before they’re no longer available. ... show more

  • Good for the price - However...
Color: Pnp Wingspan 102 Inch
Purchased as test plane for new electronics. Foam is very dense, fit and Finish is good except for the canopy. I was unable to insert all pins so I just tape it on on one side. Climbs at 40-45 degrees. *** CG spec is off, start at the aft end or be ready to hold up elevator. I have 2.5oz of lead on the tail with a 2200mAH 3s. Mine has excessive left roll Needs non-scale large dark areas on bottom wing so you can see it better but looks great as is. If you are a new pilot, get some help, it was a handful on the maiden. Once dialed in will make a good test plane or sunday flyer ... show more

  • Good quality build, flies very well
Color: Wingspan 62 Inch Pnp
Flies comparable to the eflite conscendo, much more durable and better build. The wing joining system is sturdy and seem to click out with the help of a knife, fairly easy. I spent about an hour and 2 flights on the first day, beach soaring with 20-30 mph winds and it handled it well, as is stock. I will be upgrading the servo's and motor, could use the weight of a 4s when it's that windy. Still cheaper and better build than the competitors like the Kunai and Conscendo IMO ... show more

  • Fly’s great
Color: Wingspan 78 Inch Pnp
It is really a great product for the price. The only negative is the servo horns a the nylon push together variety. Not very good on soft foam. I added 30 minute epoxy to both side. Easy to assemble and not for beginners. You need to have some building experience.

  • One Plane Does It All
Color: Wingspan 62 Inch Pnp
This is a very well designed kit. It took an hour to put it together and a little longer to get a receiver and radio rigged right. Those weren’t included and the directions were kind of light but I figured it out. The plane flies really well. CG marks under the wings for battery placement. Predictable glide. Easy to control. I like it a lot. ... show more

  • Flies very well BUT Motor gets very hot.
Color: Wingspan 62 Inch Pnp
I have bought model 2400mm, 2000mm and now 1600mm. All models fly like a babys, but in the Xs the motor gets very hot during the flight and the power goes down and I have to land it ASAP. I am very sad because the quality of VOLANTEX IS THE BEST. It seems that the motor of this model is not branded Volantex. It may be a third party supplier. ( I use 2s Lipo 2.200, Prop 10x6, ESC 30 A, A2212 motor 1400KV) If someone can give me a solution I will certainly will be very grateful. ... show more
