I have to admit, the bright colors and cheesy graphic on the front nearly put me off to what has been a terrific addition to my kitchen. I live in a tiny house, so I don't have a lot of room for appliances. This burner fit right into the space where I wanted it to go. It's easy to move and easy to clean. Once I got used to the way it turned on and off, it was easy going from there! It takes no time to cook an egg or boil some water and, for me, this burner is much more practical than the hotplates I have constantly needed to replace. I highly recommend this burner. If I have any complaint, it's that my small pots don't fit extremely well on it as it comes out of the box. An inexpensive size reducing trivet takes care of that issue nicely. If you need an extra burner or, like me, have a tiny kitchen and hate electric appliances, I think that you could benefit by purchasing this product. ... show more

It works well. Love the spark ignition. Waaaay better than the junky/scary Koblenz that we had to replace. Two things I don't like: it came dented with no box damage, so that means it was shipped that way. I almost took off a star for that since we are using it in a cabin and wanted it to look nice. The other thing is that when you do the click thing to light it, the flame shoots up two inches. That really shouldn't happen. I almost took a star off for that too. BUT for the price, and compared to the Koblenz crap we had, it's really decent and we're glad to have it to cook on. ... show more
