  • Great and Compact
Color: Black
Amazingly compact and powerful! Heats water up quick and is very easy to set up/clean. Very lightweight for backpacking or just a good asset for your kitchen set when frontcountry camping

  • For More than backpackers
Color: Black
Nice quality. Works perfect for hiking, camping, & boating. Light weight for a hike but stows away nice on a boat or Beach picnic

  • Works as good as the expensive brand
Color: Black
Worked well for what I needed. Isobutane is never great in cold environments, but this boiled the water I needed quickly, and at a much lower price than the big company one. Locking/unlocking the pot into the base is the only deduction as it can be a bit cumbersome with gloves.

  • Great little travel/backpacking stove!
Color: Black
Bought this for a trip to Iceland. Definitely exceeded expectations and worked very well. We figured if it was just so so, we’d give it to someone there before we left. After several uses on our trip, it earned its place in our luggage to return home. It seems to be built well and I love the compact size. Getting ready to take it on another trip! ... show more

  • Great performance at great price point.
Color: Black
This worked great. We booked a liter of cold water in less than 3 minutes at 3000', air temps in the upper 40s. Saved a lot on fuel and we used this instead of the smaller Jetboil we'd packed. I didn't use the included bowl, which doesn't pack in when you have the fuel canister packed, but this was fine as I prefer to have a bowl with a tight fitting lid. I appreciated how easy it was to detach and pour the boiling water immediately after shutting off burner. ... show more

  • Review after first trek in the mountains---When it works, it great, but had some issues
Color: Black
So we just took this on our first backpacking trip. I had tested one boil at home (around 700 feet elevation) and it seems to boil fast and easy to use. We hiked to a lake that was about 8,800 feet elevation, and another at 9,200ft. We used for about 5 meals worth of boils, usually with 2-3 boils per meal as we boiled for cocoa, and cleanup water. the GOOD: boiled relatively quickly when there was ZERO wind. Easy to lift with the handle and pour. I liked how small it packed up and the weight when packed. the BAD: wind, any wind, like a tiny breeze made the flame go out. There were some boils I had to hover and reclick every 5 seconds or so, as it kept getting blown out, and burst ignited gas out the sides, it singed the nice neoprene skin and melted a bit away. Half the cooks we ended up huddling around it trying to block the wind and i burned a good amount of my hairs on my hands off with the gas bursts from the many many many relights. This was very very frustrating, I am not sure if my unit was just defective, or if this is a common issue for anyone else (or maybe i was too high for it to work properly...though 8,800 feet seems like it should work there. The lid often popped open when it boiled, even though I had tried to make sure it was secure each time. Also the "twist to lock on" feature of the water tot eh burner was very insecure, it often slipped out. other thoughts: Overall it eventually got the job done, I wind issue made me regret purchasing it. I also wish some of the engineering issues with connectivity had been better. But i did like the look, size and weight. I'd be curious if my unit was an outlier, or if all of them share my issues. ... show more
