  • Works great, compact, awesome price!
The media could not be loaded. Let me start off by saying, I'm new to the camp stove game, but I'm really enjoying this little stove. I haven had any issues with air flow or smoke when burning in this stove. I have burned pine but I mostly use birch wood. Thoses things really get going in this little stove. It is true that the 6 feet of flute segments can become stuck (really stuck) after burning due to build up. This is easily fixed by spraying (when cool) the connections with a tiny bit of WD-40 foam, allow it 1min to loosen the grime between the male/female connection. Then twist lose. Clean with paper towel......BAM!, your ready for your next outing. I'm surprised no one has tried this method yet....it works! Also I use a bubble level to tilt the firebox ever so slightly downward (extendable legs help here) in the front to assist in pulling the smoke away from the door. The air flow does the work, sucking from front (door) to the (flute) in the back. The legs also connect to the firebox via threads that are exposed to ash and heat so tapping those also with WD-40 goes a long way keeping them from getting stuck as well. I hope this helps someone out there because this really is an awesome stove when kept in good condition. ... show more

  • Good starter stove for sale price.
The media could not be loaded. I got this stove on sale. Performed my initial burn in the back yard. Do NOT try to use this stove in a tent until you have ran a very hot fire outdoors. The paint and oil burns off. I didn’t have any issues with missing or broken parts as some reviewers have. It’s a cheap stove. Easy to assemble. I think it will hold enough wood to fill its purpose. Not too heavy, although I think the stove pipe weighs as much as the stove itself. The stove pipe is unsteady on the stove alone. I wish it had tie outs for stays to hold it in place during windy days. The door is a bit small so you will have to process almost all of your wood before burning. Overall I’m happy with how it functions. I’m already looking at getting a stove jack for my ice fishing shelter. ... show more

  • I love the little wood burning stove/fireplace
It's definitely a great investment. Easy to use. Small size so it's easy to pack. I only wish it had a flume to control the airflow. It functions like a normal wood stove otherwise. And has a great heat output.

  • Decent but lacking
1/5/2025 update. From 3 stars to 1 stars. Bout this for a winter camping trip i have coming up in January. But after using it 3 time for other events I'm more hesitant to use in my hot tent. 1st the chimney stack base is not fully welded which will let smoke seep out instead of going up the pipe. Both tray rack were not welded right and 2 rails broke off 1 on each rack. The attachment point for the legs are just compression nut inserts and are shakey and are exposed to the fire on the inside. I now it now the most expensive stove out there but I figured it be done better the this. (Update) after using the stove for my intended camping trip that had bought it for. During the night I woke up to smoke in my tent and fire visible through the chimney pipe base. I guess the weight of the smoke stack broke the tack welds of the base. I had to rush to puy out the fire and oper my tent doors to vent out my tent. ... show more

  • Door is gapped.
This super small. I knew it would be small I just didn't realize it was that small. Suppose to heat 500sq ft. My building is bought it for is 432 square ft. I don't think this is going to heat it. I may be sending it back because the door doesn't have a seal on it and is gapped. I gave it 3 stars because the pipes seem to work well even though they are wobbly. Needs to come with an elbow. A fireplace shovel barly fits threw the door. Definitely cannot fit 13" logs in it. More like thick sticks. ... show more

  • Superb!!
I was excited to get this "little" stove, and it is impressive. I was able to get a fire started fairly quickly. With the small opening it poses a pecular start. Once I got some larger twigs in there it was going along nicely. I was able to boil some water for hot chocolate while I was out there. The fire maintained itself really with the stove pipes drawing the smoke up very well. The stove weight and build is a very good balance. Quality materials were used and everything seemed very machined. The pipes are made with a heavy gauge single wall stainless steel, comes with a flue brush. The legs went on very quickly and seem super stable. The tool for the door worked very well. Using the tool on the damper was good until it was getting hotter. It became hard almost stuck to try to move it. I didnt get a chance to see about adjusting it. I will probably keep it in the most open position as that allowed for an awesome burn and very nice heat. I did not have to drill any additional holes. You will want to quarter small logs mostly for this stove. Twigs worked well and the 3" log did get caught up in the flame after a bit. Great stove, the discriptions on the site are all there and accurate. So know what your buying so you can maximize your joy, hahaha! Great product, I highly recommend! The first picture is day 2! ... show more

  • Several burns, no issues!
I have used this stove for two camps and just for fun once. Works great for a cheap little stove. I wish it had a damper! The pipes will stick together and you won't be able to get them apart. In a true backpacking situation this could be an issue but I just loaded it up in the truck as the stack.

  • Garbage
Let me guess your thinking “ wow stainless steel stove pipe” “obviously the bad reviews are from who have never used a wood stove” The stove won’t draft properly. The welds are sub par tack welds Probably made in a sweat shop Thin materials used in construction. DO NOT ATEMPT TO BURN COAL IN THIS STOVE!! FIRE HAZARD! The hot coals will burn right through the thin sheet metal The stainless steel pipe is the only good thing about the stove and it’s way to small to actually draft. So it’s basically worthless unless you repurposed it for something else Don’t waste your money on this cheap piece of garbage. ... show more
