I bought this Babolat Renegade pickleball paddle and I have been playing with it a few times a week for the last month. My experience has been really good so far. It combines good feel and stability for serves and good touch around the net. I also have other paddles (Monarch, Onix) and they are all rated Advanced Intermediate. Very disappointed with this paddle. After two weeks of playing, it has a dead spot and has lost most of its pop. Definitely not worth the money. It is worse than my previous paddle (Head Radical Elite) which cost half as much. There is nothing special about this paddle. I've been playing for five years, I've used several beginner/intermediate paddles (Monarch/Selkirk/Head) and this Babolat is the worst. Would not recommend. ... show more

I have played tennis for over a decade and always used Babolat tennis rackets. When looking for a pickleball paddle, I wanted to go with Babolat because I trust the brand. Well, this paddle did not disappoint. I felt that it had a large, powerful sweet spot with decent control. The bumper guard is pretty nice and durable.
