I got this for the Florida hurricane prep package, as last year I went two weeks without power. I decided to take this with me on a camping trip last week to try it out. This stove worked great. Much better than I expected. Boiled water for coffee very fast. Fried up sausage and eggs better than my electric at home. I’ve used it on camping trips, and it’s simple to set up and quick to get going thanks to the push-button starter—no matches needed. With 7,650 BTUs of power, it heats up fast and handles everything from simmering soups to boiling water efficiently. The flame control knob makes it easy to adjust the heat, so you’re not stuck with just “high” or “off.” The burner grate is sturdy and holds a variety of pan sizes without wobbling. I also like how compact and lightweight it is. The included carry case makes it easy to pack and transport, and it doesn’t take up much space in the trunk. Cleanup is straightforward too—the drip tray wipes clean with minimal effort. The only small downside is that it uses butane canisters, which aren’t as widely available as propane in some areas. I had ordered Coleman stove, and it was a huge help during the power outage due to Hurricane Helene! During shipping, I ordered another stove! was damaged during shipping! And a new one was sent to me! During gas shortage or ice/snow roads. I am able to cook without leaving home! Easy to use with Butane fluid canisters! Better to use cooked can meats,that are softer! I have been trying to get off portable propane stoves for a while with RV camping. The 1# canisters are expensive and bulky. While this butane stove still requires butane canisters, the stove is way smaller and cheaper. I don’t think it really saves money but the space savings is more important. I still have a propane burner in the RV so this works great for cooking small meals outside of the RV. ... show more

I am so impressed with this stove! We took it on a weekend camping trip and cooked on it Friday night, Saturday morning, Sat night and Sunday morning. We still had butane left over in the first bottle we took. It was super easy to use, has a very quick and easy to use starter, the flame control is great, it was easy to clean, and it was big enough to hold a decent-size skillet. It also heated water in my kettle up to boiling in less than two minutes. It comes with a plastic case that is a little cheap and hard to close, but the stove itself is well-worth the price!
