  • These are great gloves!
Size: XX-Large (1 pair) Color: 1 Pair - Black -Regular
XXL IS XXL! Usually XXL means "too small for me" but not these! They are not water resistant in any sense. The "touch screen" feature didn't work for me. But IDC. These gloves are perfect for me. They are very sturdy and the hard protection patches are excellent.

  • Durability
Size: X-Large(2 Pairs) Color: 2 Pairs - Black - Regular
Vgo gloves I believe to be the absolute best gloves on the market for the price. I have used this brand now for several years and I have quit looking for any other type of gloves. I work for our township doing road clean up. I cut down trees, chunk them up, clean up the brush, branches, move all parts of the trees to the woods, truck, or trailer. Last year we did over 100 trees I don't mean small trees either the average circumfernce of the trees 38" these are large and 1 tree is a lot of clean up. At the end of the season the seams were just starting to show wear. The padding held up and protected my fingers and knuckles more times than I can remember. Before I started wearing Vgo gloves I can't tell you how many different types and brands of Mechanic gloves my wife bought for me, we spent several hundreds of $'s, some would actually only last 1 day others if lucky you would get a week out of them. Several years ago I worked on a Christmas tree farm here in North Central Wisconsin. You start harvesting the trees last week of October up to the Sunday before Thanksgiving. You are literally handling trees from 4' to 20' and 100's a day. You drug them from the field to get bundled and then load them to a trailer to only unload them to load them in a semi trailer. The trees would be frozen and snowy and pine trees are a rough bark during this time is were we went through gloves. If I got a week out of a pair I thought well that's the best you're going to get. But, who wants to spend $40 a week on a pair of gloves? My wife went on an Amazon search and came across Vgo heavy duty( the lighter version of these) and you got 3 pair at that time $14 and we thought if I could get a week out of these 3 pairs for $14 verses $40 it's a win. Well to our surprise I only needed 1 pair for all 4 weeks. I shared the other ones with my coworkers and they were a hit. Then my wife came across these Vgo's gloves and she knew we had a huge road project coming up so she got me these and I told her these are the only ones I want going into the future. They went through the 100+ tree project and though you seen seam issues starting they never did come apart or get torn. I still use them to this day for storm clean up on roadways for our township and it's been 3 months since the large tree project. ... show more

  • Waterproof/Warm
Size: Large (1 Pair) Color: Black&gold-winter
I haven’t gotten to get enough repetitive use out of them yet however two things I noticed are rather important especially with the Waterproof and Winter labels. The interior of the gloves feels nice and warm and even with a full soak on the exterior they didn’t get damp on the interior. This is a huge plus and what I bought the gloves for. As mentioned I have tested them enough times to make a final decision however so far so good. ... show more

  • Good and sturdy gloves
Size: X-Large(1 Pair) Color: 1 Pair - Black -Regular
These worked well and withstood washing and several months of work. Only down side are that the finger tips began to flake off but the gloves as a whole are well built and stayed together despite very rough environment.

  • Not waterproof, but still worth it
Size: X-Large(1 Pair) Color: Black&gold-winter
It's more water resistant and thick enough to absorb some levels of water and not notice, durable, useful when doing outdoor work, I've done work in the rain and kept my hands much warmer and more comfy than I would otherwise, takes a while to dry once soaked

  • Overall Good Value!
Size: X-Large(3 Pairs) Color: Black-regular
First of all, I feel these gloves are an overall good value, regarding price to wear longevity. Reasonably priced and reasonably constructed. Their durability serves me well for my usage. I handle a lot of heavy aluminum 2" tube trussing components along with custom components of angle pieces in the mix. I also handle wound bare steel rigging wire, great lengths of shielded 2 gauge electrical feeder cable and other various shielded cable gauges. At times pulling great lengths of the cables hundreds of feet. The rubber on the top side of the glove, protects the metacarpals and phalanges of the hand, minimizing the pain of the occasional bump. These gloves have additional fabric in the palm area to retard the wear factor there for all of my uses. The touch screen feature is nice and works well but, I rarely use my phone during my work. As for water resistance, I'm confused here, as I did not purchase a rubber or treated leather glove for that purpose. Previously tried another lighter Vgo style and found them to wear reasonably well for my usage. The gusset(?) area between the thumb and index finger was weak, lacking enough fabric to allow full 90 degree spread of thumb and index finger without stressing the stitching in that area. All had premature stitching failure there, the fabric wore well elsewhere regarding my rough application. Most gloves do not allow enough material there to allow for adequate spreading when grabbing things, especially large metal objects like I do. These gloves are better constructed than previous style purchased and more suited to my applications than previous style I tried, which offered more dexterity. I utilize different types of gloves for different applications in my work and expect too much dexterity from some styles of gloves. Most small items can still be picked up with these but, I like to pick up a dime with whatever I'm wearing!? FYI, not knowing if the quality of thread or fabric used offers salt (sweat)/chemical resistance in any glove retailed (unless specific to chemical application), I suggest you fresh water soak or wash your fabric gloves (if materials allow it) frequently to preserve the integrity of the thread and minimize the rotting effect there. ... show more

  • Didn't last long. Fabric durability is lacking.
Size: Large(1 Pair) Color: Black-regular
I've had these gloves for a couple months. They fit great, they're comfortable, they breathe well, and they've definitely protected me from sharps. Unfortunately they deteriorated pretty fast after just three days of demolishing a brick chimney. As you can see from the pictures, it wasn't the stitching that failed surprisingly, it was the finger fabric. The fabric surrounding the finger pads is weak and split pretty easily. I like these gloves but I am disappointed they didn't last very long. Fix the fabric issue and I'd definitely buy them again. ... show more
