They are thicker than other gloves I have used and tight in a fitting way. My hands don't sweat at all in them and I wore them most of the day as my finger tips had split open and nothing helped except these and they healed quite quickly, although I didn't buy them for that reason. I'm a caregiver for my dog and my sister and changing gloves constantly because my hands are wet from the gloves and them tearing I was going through a lot. This product lives up to its description. They are easy to slip on gives good grip and are sturdy. Be aware - small, means small. If you're not sure of you are small or medium use the size chart. My hands are 7 inches and the gloves are snug and feel good.

I dont know about 6mil but they are definitely thicker than the average gloves. They seem sturdy enough for working in the wood shop and handling stain, polyurethane, and paint. The fit is right also, I worked in EMS for many years and tend to be between a M and L, I bought these in L and they are not loose and not too snug either, just right. Nothing fancy but exactly what says it is. Fits well and goes on easily. Much stronger and tear resistant then cheaper or thinner gloves. Seem to provide the expected protection and are easy to remove with just enough stretch.
