I am on my second pair now but I have to say that I put gloves through a lot. I use these for everything from gardening to working on cars, woodworking and general homeowner day to day maintenance stuff. I used them this year for putting down my annual 250 bales of pine needles, before then I was too cheap to spring for a nice pair of gloves like these. Major league difference! So much better with these. Usually the needle points will pierce the finger tips every so often, making me wince but not so with these gloves. I think i had one instance of a needle point comeing through in the side of the finger where the material is not quite as thick. I guess you get what you pay for. They are not cheap but I think that for my purposes, they are worth it. ... show more

I use these gloves all the time because they provide such a great balance of flexibility, dexterity, comfort, and protection. I bought them for breaking up pallets and they were great at protecting my hands from splinters and nails, while allowing full freedom of movement (which a lot of solid work-gloves don't allow for). The padding on the palms have saved me from blisters that I used to get, and the rubber on the back have saved me from some skinned knuckles more than a few times. Now I use them for everything - woodworking, handy-man jobs, wrenching on the car, dealing with greasy parts, pulling weeds in the yard, etc. I loved my first pair so much I bought a second and keep them in the truck so I always have a pair handy, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. The fit is true to size but they do stretch out and flex a little bit so they're not TOO tight, and the elastic cuffs keep them firmly in place through all kinds of movements. ... show more

Good fit. I like how they feel on my hands. A good general purpose work glove. These are not waterproof and I don't think they will be good for warmth but I iterate that they are a good general purpose glove, especially for the money. Had some craftsmen gloves before these and they tore up in a month's time. Have used these to mow and weedeat all summer and no real signs of wear and no holes in the fingers. Well worth the money.

I have a wide variety of gloves and these were my first from DeWalt. I pulled these out for a decent sized effort: moving 7,000 pounds of river rock by hand, wheel barrow, and shovels. These gloves were on for the whole project which was to load just over 3 cu yards of 1-3" and 5-12" Arizona river rock dumped on the street, moved about 100 feet into the back yard. I used shovels for small pieces, and gloved hands for the 5+ inch pieces, wearing these gloves. It took 2 days but the rock got shoveled, wheel narrowed and dumped. These gloves were comfortable, my hands were protected (no redness, callouses), and the gloves held up just fine. For general projects I don't see these gloves failing or falling short in any way. They are now my "go-to" gloves when I'm doing general projects. ... show more
