These are well made leather gloves, the stitching is tight and the fit is perfect. I have very large hands so getting gloves that fit has always been a problem. These are a little snug but fit better than almost any other leather glove I have tried. Not only that they are great when grabbing thorny bushes. They are not completely impenetrable but they are as good as any other glove I have had. These gloves are comfortable to wear and look nice if that is important. Only when I need tactile grip do I take them off. It would be nice if I good to small stuff with them but for construction or gardening or heavy work they protect my hands and don't wear out as quick as other gloves I have used. ... show more

I bought these gloves to work in my forge. They are great. I don't have any issues working around hot steel with them. Like any glove, they eventually let the heat in, but there is more than enough time to work and/or put the hot tool/ whatever down. They break in well on the outside, but the only issue I have so far is there is an inner thin lining. Mine already ripped on the left glove. Not a big issue, it doesn't seem to be very useful anyway, so I'll likely just rip them both out. That lining also follows sweaty hands out and is difficult to get the glove back on. I film my forging, so I am taking my gloves off frequently and often putting them back on with sweaty hands. That liner will disappear from the gloves soon. Other than the liner, these gloves are well worth the money, and the outer shell holds up to hard work. I will buy them again. ... show more

These are great gloves. They are well stitched, heavy duty leather gloves and, unusual in my experience, they are lined, adding to the comfort. The palm patch re-enforces the entire palm. They are in replacement of some Wells Lamont palm patch leather gloves (1129L) that within a few weeks of use had the stitching fail in the palm while the leather showed very little wear. ... show more

These gloves are comfortable, they fit well, you can cinch them tight, they are thick enough that I could grab thorny vines and pull them down. They feel like they will last me a good long time and I could grip my hatchet easily enough to suit me. Very pleased with these and highly recommend.
