This stuff is great! I've used other window films to reflect the light, or the other "translucent" films to block a bad view or for privacy. But THIS stuff is the best I've worked with. Mainly because it is nice and thick, easy to cut with sharp scissors, doesn't stick to itself, and if you get it crooked it stays real slippery on the glass until you use a burnishing tool or like a credit card to smooth out the bubbles. Then it stays in place just fine. Even then, if you need to pull it back to adjust - just lift and spray with water. TIP: I listened to one of the other reviews and added a drop of Dish soap to the water in my spray bottle and shook it up. That made for a nice slippery installation to the glass. ... show more

As much as I love my glass door cabinets, I don't love seeing all the clutter I'm trying to hide in there. This window film made for such am easy and quick fix! There's a grid on the peel off film that makes trimming the film to size easy. Spray a little soapy water on the glass and after applying the film it smoothed out so easily. You can still see through the glass slightly but it obscures all my clutter. Highly reccomend! ... show more

Overall, I am very happy with this product. I did not want to have a curtain hanging in the basement bathroom anymore, but still wanted privacy because you can see him through the backyard. This really makes the space feel less cluttered. It is an older basement and doesn’t have large windows, so this was a good way to ditch the curtains. The overall application process was very basic and simple to follow. You simply cut to size, apply water to the window and press the bubbles from the center of the film to the edges. It can be tedious if your windows have a small strip of seal that make the windows not perfectly square, which is the issue that I ran into. In order to get no bubbles, you have to take your time and be very precise with making sure there is no excess overhang , otherwise, you will end up with bubbles. I did end up with a few small bubbles, which are not visible from far away. If you are a perfectionist, seeing the bubbles might bother you if you can’t get them all out. Initially, I wanted to use it to cover the textured shower door that we have. But you need a smooth surface for this to really adhere to. If there are any dips, you will have tons of air bubbles and it will not take on the nice line texture (which is the pattern I purchased), You will see the texture below if the surface you are adhering to isn’t smooth. When I made mistakes, it was very easy to remove and retry applying. There is no sticky adhesive on these, which makes for a mess free application. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. My husband works in the automotive field so he’s an expert at applying this stuff, has all the right tools. Did another brand at our daughter’s house and it was easy. While I love the finished look, and the privacy provided, this is very difficult to work with due to the thickness of the material.

Was skeptical of a window cling but once I put it up I loved the way it changed my door. It gives really good privacy without blocking light. Took a few tries to get it installed without bubbles but it was easy to just pull off and re wet and try again. Once it’s on it’s on you can’t tell it a window cling it really does look like glass ... show more

This is a very high quality decal it's heavy weight is very easy to cut because of the grid lines. I have applied products like this before so there were no surprises there. The surprise came when after I had installed them I realized they had a magnifying effect on the sun coming through them which made it unbearable to even look at them. I imagine it is the pattern that acts almost like a prism. I'm very disappointed that I can't use these. You can't really tell from the pictures I enclosed but they are absolutely undoable in the area that I wanted to put them. They are very nice looking however and as long as you don't have a very sunny spot to put them in I think you will be happy. My office is a very very old building and they went with the ambience perfectly. ... show more
