The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! A bit more complex to build than typical because it's large sized and really we'll-made. Very handsome looking thing on patio, deck, etc. It attracted comments and compliments from guests, what are those things that you'll be proud to own! The removable grilling tray is "easy in - easy out" for cleaning. I use a metal screen made for grilling to go easy on the grilling tray itself. We've enjoyed all sorts of summer grilling fare with this, holds all we need to feed the troops, and cleans up beautifully. This autumn-winter, I plan to stock some logs and make a raging fire in this fireplace, leaves falling, chill in the air, warmed by this round fireplace with colored flames in the globe providing some sage and welcome ambience for the holidays. It's very well made, doesn't rattle or squeak. Do lube the joints - moving parts with a bit of WD40 to avoid rust and keep the lid moving well. Price is great on Amazon and don't be out-off by putting it together. It's all worth an hour of building to cook in nice weather and warm you in the chill air. Highly recommended! ... show more

The fire pit is sturdy, and looks great. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it's going to be fun. Everything works well, however if you do what I did, you are in for an ordeal. There are lots of parts and the directions for the spatialy challenged are impossible to decipher. Be sure to watch the set up video. It gets easier if you pay attention, although a few steps are taken for granted by the man on the video--again, some of this is easy, but everything should be explained for those of us in the hopeless column.I would recommend that you call a friend to help you. Also, it takes about 4 hours to fully assemble the fire pit. There is no cover for it--I thought there was one included. ... show more

Not too difficult to assemble without assistance. Sturdy and attractive. Large gap allows some sparks to escape so keep a hose nearby. A few mistakes in the owners manual need to be addressed but typos happen.

I love my Ikuby Firepit!! Easy to assemble. Not only are there directions but there is a video showing how to assemble. Stylish globe shape. Very unique. Large size. Holds a lot of firewood and you can build a pretty decent sized fire. Very sturdy and safe. I like how it encloses the fire to prevent stray ashes and ambers from setting the surroundings on fire. Comes with a grate to cook on. Just don’t lose the grate holders like I did. Great customer service. Contacted Ikuby for replacement grate holders and they responded immediately. ... show more

With much research and thought about my needs and desires, this fire pit checked all boxes. It's well made with good materials. Easy, very easy assembly which isn't much. Well packed for shipment.Proper design for strong fires. Excellent ventilation. Fantastic, very adjustable, sturdy cooking rack. Up, down, side to side, easily removed. Fire cooked food tastes better. The pit itself has metal bowl shaped pan holding burning wood off bottom. My theory is the less direct hot fire against metal, the longer it will last. Good, quality materials but still I'm looking long term. Weather here is North Eastern PA so never too hot, never too cold. The cover opening is also well made and good materials. Not heavy so it's easily relocated. Time will tell but so far friends, neighbors and I are having fireside chats such as humans have done since building fires. ... show more

All the complaints about putting it together are true. The instructions were pretty decent but putting it together was a pain because the holes don’t line up and I had to drill additional holes to put the bolts through so it would line up.
