to start.. I want to mention that I dont write reviews but after a long time of tedious searching and critiquing fire tables I wanted to give some honest feedback on this fire table because the current reviews are all over the place. I was nervous purchasing this because its a good amount of money and some of the reviews mentioned broken or bent parts with no repair or replacement options. I'll break the review out for simplicity. Shipping/packaging: 5 stars.. unit came earlier than expected (gave me a date window due to covid and it arrived earlier than expected). The unit is packaged very very well. Took me about the same time to unpack everything as it did to install. Every piece is wrapped and strapped together to prevent any moving or rubbing during Shipping. *for those who received broken or bent pieces it is no fault of the company and I would blame the delivery method* Installation: 5 stars .. super easy, just read the directions first. Yes, there's 3 different types of screws.. which seems obvious to me but I guess not to everyone else. The instructions are clear as each screw is numbered, you just have to keep track which is which. Entire process took me about 30-40 min as I went slow screwing things in because I had previously read reviews saying the holes were not machined correctly..this was certainly not the case for me as everything went in smoothly without much effort. Heat output: 3 - 4 stars.. its summer and the 3 times I've used it its been 80 degrees so its hard to judge heat output. Sitting close you can definitely feel it but im just not sure if its enough for those cooler months. It could easily be. Looks/build quality: 5 stars.. its very sturdy once together. The propane shelf slides easily and closes tight and seamless. The wicker is of good quality and thick. When fully assembled its a very nice stand alone statement piece for our deck. There's gotta be a few Cons right?? Well of course, as not everything is perfect. For me its the ignition unit, like a ton of the other reviews, it just doesn't always work for some reason. Its finicky as to when it lites the propane and when it doesn't. I still need to play around with it as it could be user error. To me this doesn't even warrant a negative comment as its easily remedied with a grill lighter. Lastly, because of all the reviews about the metal top becoming stained by water or anything else, I purchased a clear matt finish can of hight heat rustoleum to spray on the metal top. This will help to ensure no staining or tarnishing. I expect this to remedy any future issues simply and easily. To finish, if you made it this far I appreciate it. It took me a while to find the correct fire table for my needs. This one looks fantastic and has the build quality to last a while. I'm quite happy with my purchase and would highly recommend.     • Inadequate instructions and inadequate parts labeling.

BEWARE, there are un-labeled and potential un-expected assembly problems. 1. There is a top and bottom to the "un-notched" end piece. There is no label to indicate the top or bottom. Be sure the narrow side is down (base of unit) and wide side is up (top of unit). 2. The central "X" cross-brace on my unit was welded in the wrong place. I had to hacksaw the weld in order to install the brace. I wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why the brace wouldn't fit properly until I realized the weld was 1 inch off and out of square. 3. Be very careful when starting the bolts. It is very easy to cross-thread them. Once assembled, it feels solid despite how light it is. We've used it only one evening so can't comment on its durability, but we like the looks, the initial functionality as a fire pit and table and if it is durable we will be very pleased. Again, be aware, there can be unexpected assembly challenges. Good luck. ... show more

    • A Great Deal on a Fire Table

We will use this as both a table and fire feature in our back yard by the pool We needed to replace our rickety old plastic round table anyway so this was big enough to fill that niche. The finish is a very dark brown and fits our earth tone theme. I have yet to light it up but am feeling positive about the outcome. When assembling this table you need to realize that the top and bottom of the support structure have different dimensions, with the upper area slightly (around 2") wider than the bottom. This means you need to pay attention when assembling or you will think that the kit is all wrong! The instructions are pretty good but they make no mention of this aspect. All screws were included, in three lengths but the same Allen bolt size, #6. The whole assembly is fairly light when out of the box so you can carry and move it easily. Nice quality and looks! A follow up. We have only used this table once, and it was difficult to get going. For some reason the propane regulator was not allowing gas to pass to the burner area, which makes this impossible to use. It did pop open for some reason after while and we were able to get it lit, that time. We just tried this again last night and no go. That darned regulator is sticking closed, I believe. I will have to try and replace it somehow. Otherwise it is a fine piece in the back yard! I bought a replacement regulator but I think that I did not realize that you need to push the control knob in when trying to light this thing! When you do you can hear a rush of gas and then you push the ignitor button, Voila! Flames about 12" high if you aren't careful! Just adjust the gas flow downwards. Nice to get it lit! ... show more

This is so pretty sitting around with the rocks and the glass around it. I love that if my husband isn't around I can just slide the drawer out to turn the propane on and push the button to get it started. It keeps us warm. Worth the price.

The items arrived two days late from the Amazon projected delivery date. That could be due to FedEx. Everything has arrived in good condition, although we haven't unpacked the glass wind guard yet. The packaging of the item was first-rate. It took almost as long to open the box and remove all the items from the bubble wrap and taped cardboard as it did to assemble it. Assembly was easy, and the instructions were straightforward.
