I live a block from the beach, and I’m lucky to get 2 to 3 years of use out of pits before the pits just rust out due to extreme rust, mostly due to piss poor powder coatings. THE GOOD: Assembly was a breeze. The item has a very nice waterproof cover (doesn't move around in the wind, silky, and weighty). The pit is nicer-looking and larger than I imagined. The lid doesn't warp. You can set drinks on the rim of this thing. And the list price of $86 seems more than fair now that I've seen it in-person. THE BAD: The grate sits near the bottom of the bowl, making it impossible to cook on. There are four small holes in the bottom of the bowl, which leak ash (or water if you're using this as a drink holder in the summer). Fireproof mats are hard to find in the dimensions of this pit (true for most pits though, since mats tend to be rectangular). The bowl isn't secured in any way, so is prone to moving about; though will likely never fall through the body because of the adequate overhang in its design). And it's hard to imagine using it as an ice bucket for drinks, when it comes with a waterproof cover to prevent rusting. Those things considered, I'm still at 5 stars because of the home run this ultimately hit. The brand name is a weird one, no doubt. This fire pit has been a great addition to our backyard. Pros-The fire pit was easy to assemble and light to move around. It drains water well if you need to rinse it out. It looks nice in the backyard. We have enjoyed roasting s'mores and hotdogs. Cons-The fire-pit has a bit of a cheap feel since it is so light weight. The pit doesn't hold larger logs very well because it is not very deep. If it is not covered, it will rust, so you have to make sure you keep it out of the rain. Overall, we have enjoyed this fire-pit over the last few months. It has allowed our family to spend some great time in the backyard for a very reasonable price. ... show more

I recently purchased the Yaheetech 32-inch Outdoor Firepit, and I’m very pleased with it! The build quality feels solid and durable, perfect for outdoor use. When it comes to the flame, it produces a lovely, warm glow that really enhances our backyard gatherings. The size is just right for my patio, providing enough space for everyone to enjoy without being overwhelming. Despite its sturdy construction, it’s surprisingly lightweight, making it easy to move around as needed. The storage capacity for logs is decent, allowing for a good amount of wood to keep the fire going. However, I did notice that some missing parts in the initial packaging delayed my setup, but the customer service was quick to resolve the issue. I bought this pit with the cover back in September of last year. Pros-- Nice addition to the backyard. Easy to setup. Basic tools needed. Breathing holes for air flow is great. Thickness is ok for the pit. Size is just what it says in the description. The appearance of the pit is still good. Overall a nice pit for the price you pay. Cons-- Screen covering does rust a lot after first use. Cover is a very cheap plastic and will not last 6 months as I experienced. Seems you may have to take it apart to pick up until the next winter. To stop tarp from dry rotting. As you can see in the pictures, it becomes very brittle. Top cover screen starts to break apart due to the rust. The pit is a flimsy and as sturdy as I would like it, but that's me. ... show more
