  • Good product, found it hard to match my tile with a yellowish tinge to our Travertine.
Style: Color Match
We had tried a grout based filler before. It just falls out. I had some professional restoration done on my kitchen top and the fellow used an epoxy based product that was awesome. So, that drove me to select this product. I think epoxy is the only way to go. We used this on Travertine. So far, so good. The colors provided are super intense! be careful and add a much much smaller amount than you think you need. The colors provided: brown, red, white and black are hard to combine to get a yellowish color, but eventually we found something that is close. Be sure to clean out the hole thoroughly. I used alcohol on a q-tip and let it dry completely.. which seemed to work well. Small things: The product arrived crushed so one of the containers was partially opened. Packing needs to be better. They should include a small board to mix the epoxy on. ... show more

  • Disappointing and Messy - Marble and Granite Repair Kit, Tintable Porcelain Repair Kit
Style: Color Match
I recently purchased the Marble and Granite Repair Kit, Tintable Porcelain Repair Kit with high hopes of fixing a few minor chips and cracks in my kitchen countertops. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of a disaster. From the outset, the kit seemed promising with its claim of being tintable and suitable for marble, granite, and porcelain surfaces. The instructions appeared straightforward, and I was optimistic about achieving a seamless repair. However, the reality was far different. The application process was incredibly messy. The repair compound was difficult to mix to the right consistency, and it didn't spread smoothly over the damaged areas. It quickly became apparent that achieving a professional-looking repair would be next to impossible with this kit. The worst part, however, was the tinting process. Despite following the instructions carefully, the compound left a noticeable yellow stain on my countertops. The tinting was inconsistent, and no amount of adjustment seemed to produce a satisfactory color match. Instead of blending in with the marble and granite, the repaired spots stood out like unsightly blemishes. Not only did the yellow stains look terrible, but they also seemed to set in permanently. Scrubbing and attempting to remove the stains only made the surrounding areas look worse, leaving my countertops in a worse state than before. The end result was far from the seamless, professional repair I had hoped for. Instead, my countertops now have glaring yellow stains that are more unsightly than the original chips and cracks. The product did nothing to improve the appearance of the surfaces and, if anything, highlighted the areas even more. To make matters worse, the repair compound also seemed to attract dirt and grime, making the stained areas look even more prominent over time. This kit not only failed to deliver on its promises but also left my kitchen looking worse than ever. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the Marble and Granite Repair Kit, Tintable Porcelain Repair Kit. It was a complete waste of time and money, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this product. If you're looking to repair marble, granite, or porcelain surfaces, I recommend seeking out a more reliable and effective solution. This kit is definitely not worth the frustration and disappointment. ... show more

  • Used to repair cracks in granite counter
Style: Color Match
Where to start.... I had a crack on my granite counter top by the sink so I needed to seal it up. This product definately worked, but it took time to blend colors together to make it blend in. It was also difficult to fill the crack because the paste was so thick, but again I got it done for a great DIY price !!! I don't think anyone would know unless I told them and had them look closely. ... show more

  • Tough to match colour and use
Style: Color Match
This is not for amateurs - little colour goes a very long way and it is super drippy so rather apply small thin layers at a time - sand then repeat! It works though.

  • Takes a lot of patience and work
Style: Color Match
I bought a brand new marble table from west elm and was bringing it in the house and banged it against the door and chipped the marble. I was not happy. The product comes with two mystery substances A and B. You mix them and then there is paint you could add. My first try I added a little bit of white, mixed the goo the best I could and let it set for a day then went to sand it and the filling came out. Luckily they give a lot. The second time I didn’t add any white (the substances are white already) I spilled the black paint on the floor (it came off luckily) but let it set for 3 days and then gently sanded it. It looks a lot better than before. The problem is it was a deep chip so I figure I’ll try it a few more times to build it up and hopefully it will harden over time. It’s worth trying cuz it is improved ... show more

  • Excellent stone repair kit
Style: Color Match
The kit came with all the items needed. I did the repairs, waited 24 hours as instructed for the patches to cure, and started sanding. Once I got to the fine sandpaper it was hard to see the patches because they matched the stone color and the shine. One thing to note: as the instructions say: a little dye goes a long way. Also, I would like to have a color option. For example, I polish rocks which become black when polished; so I would want only black dye. ... show more
